Flickering Screen

Hi guys, hope you're doing fine.
A few weeks ago I flashed MIUI 8.3 (by xiaomi.eu, v7.3.9 beta) on my Redmi Pro. Today i noticed that my screen is flickering. I don't know how do describe it exactly, but it looks like those neon light advertisements where a sign is repeatedly turned on and off. It's as if the screen connector ribbon is damaged, but I'm sure the display itself is fine and the problem is software related (since it doesn't happen when I boot into TWRP). I'm going to install the latest version of the weekly MIUI tonight and see if the problem goes away.

same here. official latest developer rom. still no fix. even more bugs with latest update like this en.miui. com/thread-559369-1-1.html

Same problem. I'm afraid it's a hardware issue. Seems like many Redmi Pro's have a faulty screen and the problem begins to occur only after a few months of use. The flicker is especially noticeable in low brightness modes.

The only way to fix this is to replace the screen.
