[GUIDE][venus|star|mars] How to install Xiaomi.eu ROM for Xiaomi MI11 / Pro / Ultra

The AndroidFileHost Germany Link does ~5MB/s
tested it now
all the same
tried all sources

I have problems syncing my band 5 with the health app, it syncs very well with my fit, but I can't add the source to the health app.

Looks like its now going to 5mbs at least from German link. Sourceforge gave me 35 MB/s, with the 600 mbits optic fiber

In the previous version and the current version, the fingerprint scanner does nothing in second space when used with non system apps. In other words, App Lock works and I can switch from second space back to first space, but I cannot, for example, use my fingerprint to unlock a password manager or Protonmail.

It's a very odd issue because the fingerprint modal does popup and the scanner lights up when I put my finger on it, but that's it. It seems to fully ignore the input itself. It doesn't time out. It doesn't vibrate. The light just keeps shining.

---

I also had an issue with the screen brightness randomly being very low, instead of what I had set it at. However that seems to have been resolved in the latest version. This has not yet been fixed. My bad.

Hi guys, I was wondering if this build supports carrier aggregation for european carriers, I'm in Romania and I don't get 4g+ on my carrier, Orange, with the China rom... I would gladly install xiaomi.eu if 4g+ and all the stuff for european operators is included. Thanks in advance.

Wczoraj pierwszy raz od około 10 lat wgrałem własny rom (Macbook Air, adapter usb-c - usb-a, windows 10). Postępowałem zgodnie z instrukcjami, obejrzałem kilka filmów instalacyjnych xiaomi.eu na innych modelach Xiaomi na YT. To działa. Dziękuję za twoją pracę.
Pierwsze wrażenie, bateria jest zła, bardzo zła. Wciąż testuję telefon, ale może to być dla mnie duży problem.

4G and 5G works for me in The Netherlands. Both Chinese ROM and the Xiaomi.eu ROM.

For me, on chinese rom, they don't. I have 4G but it doesn't go up LTE A and 5G works on N78 only. My carrier uses a lot of N1. On my Mi 10 Pro global, they both work. I am waiting to be able to unlock and try anyway, thanks.

ROMs don't have any influence over bands for carriers, they're built into the hardware. The Mi 11 supports all the bands for Orange in Romania:

5G – N78 (3500)
4G – B3 (1800), B7 (2600), B20 (800)
3G – B1 (2100), B8 (900)
2G – B3 (1800), B8 (900)

So, the phone itself should have no issues. Maybe your network is having difficulties at the minute, but as far as I know, no matter what ROM you flash it does not have any effect on network frequencies.

Carrier aggregation is something different, it means using 2, even 3 bands at the same time to get better speeds, that's LTE advanced or 4G+. To do that aggregation of bands the modem must be instructed in how to and what bands to put together, different carriers have different configurations. I know the phone has all the bands used in my country, that's why on the global rom it will work for sure, I just don't know if xiaomi.eu is built with the global rom network/ modem config or with the chinese one. I am almost convinced that it uses the chinese ones though...

My mistake! The ROMs are built on the Chinese firmware so maybe that is the case with the modem configs but perhaps one of the devs can provide an answer.
