HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

Hey.
First of all, thx to the devs and their work. Rly good job :)
Installed the HyperOS 2.0.1.0 Update for my Xiaomi 11 Ultra (star). The rom running good so far. I noticed just some problems. After the new update the phone feels a little bit slower. When im opening apps sometimes i got some micro stutters. But the biggest problem is the massive battery drain after the update. It almost cut my battery in half.
So far so good.
Thx to the hard working Devs and overall to the community :)
Not sure these 2 go well together
It almost cut my battery in half.
So far so good.

I can see the percentage dropping just by looking at the always on display when it's idle , luckily this phone now is spare

I even reflashed with data wipe I didn't install anything back and no SIM and battery life goes down so quickly

We've been hearing this complaint with every ROM release for the past decade.
Not sure what we're supposed to do about your battery. We don't do anything that should affect it that much.
I get that , now I have op13 my experience battery life is great but I still hear others saying it's not you'll always get that and everyone usage and what they install is different

But in saying that MIUI 14 battery life was much better I even replaced the battery bought from ifixit so know it's good as original and had it on MIUI 14 for few months battery life improvement was very noticeable, only when I went on hyperOS it got bad now it's even worse on hyperOS 2 this is without anything installed or sim , I don't blame Xiaomi.eu , it's spare phone now so not too bothered might even try custom rom just to see

Hello everyone, I've installed a new update on my Mi 11 Ultra Star.
First of all, I want to thank everyone who's doing this great work. The ROM is running well so far. Here are a few minor bugs:
1. Advanced textures aren't working properly.
2. Battery drains quickly.
3. Too few launcher layout options.
Other than that, I haven't tested much yet.
Exactly the same issue, i am facing

I just noticed the issue with advanced textures

The battery drain starts like 72hrs late when the update settles down

The launcher layout option is also painful

I am used to a 6x6 launcher but right now,

I am using dense and i had to remap my homescreen, its looking weird

"Aren't working properly" says nothing.

Every user reports something different for each device and from one ROM version to another.
There is no known method to track down the origin of the drain. That's Android for you.

Xiaomi's design decision.

Not that people will actually read it, but it might help some people to put in a statement about how battery will be worse the first few days after install while Android does it's usual compile stuff. That one could do bg-dexopt-job or compile -a -f if they want to get it over with early. From reading comment after comment over the years most people don't understand how things operate and so they hit "install" and think everything is done the moment they see their wallpaper.

That's right, although we set dexopt to happen on first-boot or ROM update, so that can't explain battery drain hours after updating.
Also, some users think that we're still in Android 8 days and wipe dalvik-cache thinking that it'll improve something, without realizing that the cache won't be regenerated until the next version update, basically making apps being recompiled every cold start, which makes the device run even slower and drain the battery.

Working wonderfully on Diting (12t pro)
No battery or lag issues in the past few days since install.
Thanks for the wonderful work you guys put in this ROM!

Where the battery is draining fast, you need to analyse why:
Go into Settings / Battery, and tap on the graph line where the battery goes down fastest. Underneath, it shows what is consuming the greatest power. You can then look at making necessary adjustments to reduce power consumption.
(I always have Battery saver on, but make my own adjustments.)

There are also various things you can do to reduce power consumption:
- Settings / Apps / Manage apps / Autostart - reduce the number of apps that are in the list (most do not need to autostart);
- Settings / Battery / Current mode - try setting to 'Battery saver' (and then re-adjust settings that you want to keep);
- Settings / Battery / Additional features (img 1);
- Settings / Apps / Permissions / Permissions - you can check which apps have unnecessary permissions;
- You can monitor and check this with the 'Security.Privacy' widget (img 2);
- Do you need Always on display, if you have it set?;
- Check what apps give notifications;
- Periodically clear Recents;
- Use Widgets or Functions similar to these (img 3);
- Security / (scroll down) Battery - a few options here;
- Settings / Display & brightness / Dark mode; Auto brightness; etc., etc.;
- (App - long press) / (i) / Battery - various options;
- There are also other settings that say they might increase power consumption, eg. Using 5G, or under Settings / Display & brightness;

I am sure that there are other settings or actions that others might suggest that you can use to economise on power.

Flashed 2.0.107.0 successfully but ...
Power button work only for locking screen and holding it won't come up power off or others.

Is it required to format data when downgrading to previous version of this new update? from 2.0.106 to 2.0.103
there's some issues with Gesture shortcuts, and i uses it all time

My main problem in mi11 ultra is the fact that rear screen stuck always on. No settings will turn it off.

Hello Xiaomi EU Team, I'm facing an issue while attempting to flash the EU ROM on my Xiaomi 14. When running the fastboot script, it gets stuck at 'waiting for device.' However, I successfully rooted the device using fastboot , and fastboot devices lists my device correctly, suggesting no problems with USB or drivers. I've tried different USB cables, ports, and reinstalled ADB/fastboot drivers, but the issue remains. I'm using the latest EU ROM available for Xiaomi 14. Could this be related to the ROM or the flash script for this model? Please let me know if you need more details or logs. Thank you
I am currently using HyperTN ver 2.8

Rooted? You flashed a custom recovery... But just boot to TWRP and flash the ROM from there.

It's impossible for us to know what's wrong in your specific case.

It's impossible for us to know what's wrong in your specific case.
In short, I'm on HyperTN rom but want to go back to EU rom, when I choose to flash rom + format in the latest EU rom file, it tells me "waiting the device", I think it might be because of the EU rom file, because the team deleted the old versions I used before so I didn't try to see if it was me, in the old version I flashed normally, I am using xiaomi 14(houji)

Like it said, it's impossible for us to know why you're getting "Waiting for device". It's a specific issue you're having, no one else.

This is the case with me too (Xiaomi 15 Ultra) "Waiting for device" and I just want to update it. It worked until now but now it doesn't. As far as I know, there is no TWRP for this yet.

twrp-3.7.1_12-v9.0_A15-thor-skkk

KernelSU by patching boot.img with the app, then flashed with fastboot.

There are no caches that need to be cleared, and it has never been in the instructions.

Via TWRP normally.

Settings -> Additional settings -> Gesture shortcuts -> Launch digital assistant...
Got my 12s to update, I turned off "app lock pro" and "greenify" from auto starting, restarted and then flashed... All worked fine. Thanks
