HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

Hello,
How can I put the classic Xiaomi notification bar back? I'm attaching a screenshot of what I'm referring to

I had it with HyperOS 1.0 and when I updated to 2.0 it was lost and I can't find the option to put it back the way it was before.

In "notification bar" I have "classic" selected but it's the same as "android"

Read above and you will find the answer

Xiaomi removed support for this style completely in OS2.

u can`t, it`s not in hyper os 2, if u want, maybe back to hyper os 1

After upgrading to HyperOS 2 on my Xiaomi 14, I’m having trouble connecting to my Xiaomi Watch 2 (Wear OS 4). Any ideas? Also, no FastPair pop-ups show up at all.

Doesn’t look like it’s an EU version thing—I’ve seen similar complaints on Chinese forums. Looks like we’ll just have to wait for an update.

It seems everyone loves the old notification style, including me.

I know Xiaomi removed it in HyperOS 2, but can't Xiaomi.eu team add it back if possible? I'm sure this will be greatly appreciated by everyone honestly.
I doubt it - It's too much overhead to try and reimplement features which would not be supported by Xiaomi themselves.

To rip and introduce a feature that was torn out, it's not feasible because it'll only lose support down the line and/or could have compatibility problems.

We just need to deal with Xiaomi's changes unfortunately.

The code theoretically is there, but the old style is broken. You can't swipe to expand quick toggles there, brightness bar is buggy etc. It was like that already in OS1.1 beta (Android 15 based) and remained now, so I really doubt Xiaomi will fix it if it's officially hidden.

After a upgrade from HOS1 -> HOS2 I encountered bugs, completly my own fault because of flashing/upgrading and transfer of settings etc.
So yesterday i've deceided to make a clean flash and setting up my device as a new out of the box phone.
Conclusion: This ROM works flawless.
Only thing whats not working are the Superwallpapers (except for the Moon and Geometry).
If you're facing issues like battery drain, wearos not connecting etc..... take some time and go for a clean flash.

Are you speaking for "everyone"? A few people who bothered to register on this forum are barely a minority of our userbase.
In any case, in OS1 it was already officially hidden for newer devices and we unhid it because it was still functional.
In OS2 it's hidden for all devices and was left in a broken state, it's time to put it to rest.

Hi devs.. Great rom.. Now wanted to as a query regarding rooting method.. I used to have k20pro for 5 years before my houji xiaomi 14, for bank apps to work I used ksu for 2 years as magisk gave problems with banking apps..
Now I see 3 different apps to root, magisk, ksu and apatch(never used).. I dont use many modules.. Only integrity pacth for getting bankapps to work..
So which is the suggested root method to get play integrity! Saftenet and working banking apps on xiaomi 14..
Thank you in advance.

Thank you @gogocar62.. Ill keep in mind regarding that module..
But I also need root for adaway host edit method and minor other monitoring apps.. So wanted to know the reliable of the 3 available methods.

Does a yone else encounter bluetooth not auto connecting to devices like headsets?
When i unpair device and repair auto does work when I turn them on, after reboot i need to initiate the connection at least most of the times, also to my car bluetooth, my galaxy phone does connect, maybe the galaxy wearable app initiates connection

Also, once my back gesture stopped working on the left side and only on the right, worked after reboot.

I did a dirty upgrade on houji btw and all looked smooth,

Update: just noticed, if i go from the new control center to see if my device connects using the long press on bluetooth icon for the new optimized bluetooth menu it doesnt connect no matter how long i wait, when i press more setting and go to regular bluetooth menu it foes connect automatically,
It was another reason i didnt like the new control center because i have to press the more setting every time to see all the options

HyperOS 2.0 working perfectly on my Xiaomi 14. No problem, I don't remember but it's been on since I saw the announcement of the HyperOS 2.0 rom
Congratulations on the great and perfect work.

I need quick help, got my houji unlocked today, trying to install this rom via twrp, when I'm flashing the A15 twrp through fastboot as per the instruction here, after the fastboot reboot recovery command, the device shows the twrp splash screen & comes back to fastboot mode. what am I doing wrong?
if I choose to install the rom through the fastboot method, do I need to remove twrp and return to the original recovery? If yes how to do it?

update: I flashed the current stable ROM via fastboot, device booted fine to setup hypros, but when I wanted to go to recovery, twrp still flashes the splash screen and redirects to fastboot. wanted to know how to remove the TWRP from the device now or make it work. Thank you

No, not necessary.
I think the twrp versions of Xiaomi 14 series cannot decrypt the storage password. You can install rom via fastboot

Enter these commands
tried this, still twrp goes back to fastboot,

EDit: more digging shows this problem persists on indian variants, here

so for now re flashed stock rom via mi flash, updated a15 rom via fastboot, staying away from twrp. need to figure out rooting via fastboot isi at all its possible.
