In the new xiaomi.eu stable version 2.0.9.0 for the Xiaomi 14 (houji) there is still a big bug in the camera app! The slow motion function with the setting 1080p and 240fps does not work!

It's a problem of the mi video app, use a Chinese version of that app and it's solved

I just installed the Chinese version of the mi video app, but it still doesn't work! I started the camera app, switched to slow motion and set it to 240p. Slow motion recording started, but it still doesn't work with the Chinese mi video app!

Not just the Chinese app. Both Global Mi Video and Media Viewer support slow-mo videos.

Just recorded a 240 FPS video on Redmi K60 Ultra and everything works fine. Likely not our issue.

The Mi Video app only supports adding a video in slow motion afterwards! However, I would like to record directly with the camera app in 240fps slow motion, not add it later in post-production with the Mi Video app!
*Edit : record in slow motion is working with 960fps only!

Like I said, I recorded a 240 FPS (not sure why you call it "240p") slow mo video using the Camera app, I said nothing about post-production.
The video is playable via the included Mi Video.

P.S. Stop writing in bold text.

After flashing xiaomi.eu_AURORA_OS2.0.11.0.VNACNXM_15 (windows_install_upgrade.bat), the phone reboots in recovery. All in chinese, the bottom line says in english 'Could't mount file system'. Same situation after a second attempt.
So i tried to going back to (the previously installed) xiaomi.eu_AURORA_OS2.0.8.0.VNACNXM_15 (windows_install_upgrade.bat).
Same situation.
Is there a way round this without having to format data?

EDIT: In attachment the fastboot log

EDIT 2: Problem solved! I used Google Translate with my tablet's camera to fight my way through the chinese menu of the recovery mode to reboot and, to my great surprise, the system started up normally (Restarting with the power button always ended up in recovery).

I have been reporting this issue for so long now. This issue is not there in Chinese version buddy. I've checked with peeps using Chinese version. This is definitely caused by EU release. Please check what's causing this.

Edit : same issue was there when I was using A15 camera app in my HyperOS1 EU.

Cannot confirm, no issues on my device.

The only finding so far, long press home does no longer launch Google assistant

Edit: Switching to any other button works, only long press home does not, can anyone confirm?

Running on my way to the store to buy a Xiaomi 14 just to fix your slow mo issue.

That was funny. But it's just not mine, it's there for the whole houji EU user base.

Edit: actually I've done suggestions to make which might fix the issue. It should be done as a trial and error. Is there any option for me to enroll for the beta testing for you guys here?

Even if it's a million of users, it wouldn't change the fact that I don't have the device.

We don't have any beta testing programs. We have our own crew of testers, and even if our Xiaomi 14 tester could reproduce this, that still wouldn't change the fact that I don't have the device (testers don't fix issues, they test and report). There is no trial and error if there is no idea of why this is happening, since we don't even touch that feature.

I think I know the reason. For some reason, the global gallery and gallery editor is what causing the issue. Since CN roms still using CN gallery, they don't have any issues. If you could try this if it's possible, please do.

First of all, I am not good at English so I am using translations. Please forgive me for that.
I am using PocoF6Pro and installed EUROM of HyperOS 2.0 and it works fine.
So I have one question. In the video I saw earlier showing the features added by HyperOS 2.0, there was a feature called “Xiaomi Hyper AI”, which was a kind of chatbot working.
And now I'm trying out EUROM's HyperOS 2.0 and notice that I can't find that feature. There was only one item in the settings screen that looked like it, but activating it did not change anything.
Does this feature not exist in EUROM?

Thank you for telling us!

So if I install the official Chinese version of the ROM, there is a possibility that the AI function will work?

I was using Elite 1.0 ROM before I tried EU2.0 ROM. At that time, I had somehow tried to install an APK file related to the AI function. I remembered that it worked for a minute although it was not perfect.

I will install the official ROM of the Chinese version and give it a try!

I think I know the reason. For some reason, the global gallery and gallery editor is what causing the issue. Since CN roms still using CN gallery, they don't have any issues. If you could try this if it's possible, please do.
Is your Xiaomi 14 rooted? If so, have you tried replacing the Gallery apk and the GalleryEditor apk with the original apks of the original Global Rom? Because slow motion works with the original Global Rom!

Hello, has anyone experienced issues with the new OS version 2.0.9.0VNBCNXM released for the Xiaomi 14 Pro (Shennong)?
