Just came to report that after some hours of experimentation with our tester crew, we found where the issue was.Interesting
With this moduleWhich module did you do this with?
I mean, we are using an open source OS after all. If something is removed, we can bring it back.Xiaomi removed it
It has been discussed plenty in this thread, this discussion isn't starting again. Please take it elsewhere.I mean, we are using an open source OS after all. If something is removed, we can bring it back.
Dozens of users are asking for the old control panel (I believe there might be hundreds or thousands that want it but too lazy to participate or write in the forums) and surely it can be brought back in one way or another.
If it can't be directly integrated in the OS itself, maybe a magisk module would do?
you can always stay on the version which you prefer.. nobody force you to install updates..I mean, we are using an open source OS after all. If something is removed, we can bring it back.

Wow great !! Also since it was a bug with Mi Video, I did a workaround by disabling mi video and installing global media viewer which works flawlessly now !! Thanks teamJust came to report that after some hours of experimentation with our tester crew, we found where the issue was.
It's a bug that was neglected by Xiaomi in the Mi Video app, slow-mo videos from specific devices aren't identified correctly.
Patched for next release.
There's a workaround. Read my previous comment. You can use it till next release. It's fixed in next release according to the teamWhat's strange is that the slow motion works in the Xiaomi 14 (houji) with 960fps, but not with 120fps and 240fps. Maybe some entries in the build.prop are incorrect.
In my Mi 13pro rooted that passes everything but "strong" the IO app does not let me upload documents.Italian app IO needs strong one. Can you check?
Since it's a Mi Video issue, the workaround is as simple as installing Xiaomi's Media Viewer. There's a workaround. Read my previous comment. You can use it till next release. It's fixed in next release according to the team
Yup...doing the same. Thanks man. Great job you guys are doingSince it's a Mi Video issue, the workaround is as simple as installing Xiaomi's Media Viewer.
The next time you play a video from Gallery, it will be handled by Media Viewer instead of Mi Video.
We just fixed the issue in Mi Video.Yup...doing the same. Thanks man. Great job you guys are doing
Edit: will you be including media viewer from next patch or fixing mi video? For user experience I think media viewer does a better job than mi video. It's even lighter towards the resources than mi video.
Seems fair enough. Thanks again !We just fixed the issue in Mi Video.
We have no reason to include 2 apps that do the exact same thing (but Mi Video has more online features and can browse local files).
Media Viewer is another 45MB. If someone prefers Media Viewer, they can install it themselves, and even disable Mi Video if they want.
@gogocar62I updated to the latest version but I don't understand why there is no phone signal. I use Mi 14 pro. please help me!
