I recently switched from 2.3.30 to 3.2.22. There is a SMS mod to enable landscape typing, but how about landscape in contacts and notes? I think these are the next most important. Homescreen would be nice but you usually just press buttons in there. Even if you use a phone without a physical keyboard you would want to type longer notes with big buttons and two thumbs.
I assume contacts is a problem because Ex Dialer which the MIUI dialer is based on (?) does not support this either.
Does anyone have some insight why landscape is so consistently neglected?
