Hi dear,

after installing few roms apper a problem on all roms: when I want to start camera app (original one), it stocks ant I need to wait about 20sec to make a photo, the same if I want to switch to front camera - 20 sec.
I tried hard reset, format and everything what I can do with TWRP (wipe section) - not helping. Tried several roms based on China stable and CM - the same situation. Now I am on Xiaomi Eu china stable the latest.
Who can help me????

P.S. I tried camera aps from google market - situation the same :(

1st
Flash the newest global or china using mi flash(fastboot), all wipes & without locking bootloader.

Bootloader locked, fresh install with MiFlash, all wipes, all deleted....and I have the same issue. - I need to wait 20sec to see camera in action.
Updated China stable to the latest.

Any other Ideas? ..:(

Problem not solved, but after intalling *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* mod, *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* start after 5-7 sec. Anyway it's better then stock camera with 20 sec.
In other case, hard to understand problem like this...

I can't flash persist.img :

PS D:\Instalai\Mi Note 3\miflash_unlock-en-3.3.525.23> fastboot flash persist persist.img
target reported max download size of 536870912 bytes
sending 'persist' (5188 KB)...
OKAY [ 0.193s]
writing 'persist'...
FAILED (remote: Partition is write protected)
finished. total time: 0.197s

The same:

PS D:\Instalai\Mi Note 3\miflash_unlock-en-3.3.525.23> fastboot erase persist
erasing 'persist'...
FAILED (remote: Partition is write protected)
finished. total time: 0.016s

Fast Camera switch back, sensors back.

Instruction:

Go to fastboot with rabbit, then go to CMD or Powershel of yout fastboot file and go to edl mode by writing: fastboot oem edl

Phone Boot into EDL Mode - display is black,
- go to stable rom flashable with fastboot mode and find there and open with notepad the file rawprogram0.xml and search for "persist".
In the found line, change filename="" to filename="persist.img"
Save and flash the ROM with MIflash.

Now you should get your sensors back.

SUPER. Thank you for everybody.

I'm glad that helped you. You should be careful when using the wipe oprions in TWRP - just use the basic wipe that twrp offers

Good luck, werty
