2. Data Usage in Settings no longer FC's
3. Music no longer FC's

[BUILD 2 CHANGELOG]
1. Fixed Music.apk selection of albums list causing FC, amend to plurals.xml (Thanks Kees-Jan from miui.nl for helping solve that one)

2. Fix Chinese image in Notes.apk (Added this week, didnt spot it first time round) also added raw-en introduction, if you have it in Chinese, clear Notes.apk data under manage applications in settings)

3. Removed SuperMarket.apk

4. Re-merge of pittpatt vendor models for FaceUnlock.apk to function correctly.

I'm trying to download the rom from the MIUI (chinese site), VERY slow, and the rom size is 116MB, why is the rom available here is 127MB?

Not in the Nexus S, I did update that post to inform people of that mistake by Xiaomi, the FM will be on Mi-one only for now.

Sorry for that. Not our fault, we got the wrong information from China.

heheh :p

Why download from China? We're taking that problem away for you by making a full English ROM :)

Well because it was the only place i find it to download at the time, and also because the Chinese rom also brings english, so i think it would basicaly the same thing... guess i was a little wrong:cool:

The Chinese ROMS English is very broken, spelling problems and grammar. :)

is there any diference in which one to use?
In the Notes app, the + button text still is in chinese, why?
sorry about all the questions...

May I request some feature for Nexus S here.
I store telephone number by using country code prefix, for example my friend in Thailand tel no is +66-8111-1111.
When this no. call to me, it will show 08-111-1111 follow operator rule in Thailand. But MIUI ICS doesn't know this tel no. belong to my friend.
MIUI gingerbread doesn't has this problem, it know this number belong to my friend then show their name and picture.

try looking at the custom attribution settings for your Phone.apk

New on MIUI ROM... Currently using version 2.2.24. Looking forward for this new version...

I get FC each time entering tathering & portable hotspot option in setting...

MarkHUK, thanks for the great work, as usual.
Doesn anybody know of an application that cleans up the system that's known to work with MIUI ICS on Nexus S?

Android-wifi-tether works fine in the meantime

Just an update on this one, myself, andy and kees-jan have not been able to successfully solve the problem. I am going to speak to a few other people to see what they think.

Looking at the face of it, looks like the HTC resources framework workaround we've been using could actually now be causing a problem. Annoying thing is this resource is needed to jump the 0x02 issues preventing boot on the Nexus S.

If anyone figures out a fix we'd be glad to see it and also credit the author(s).

Thanks,

Mark
