I just flash the latest ESSwitched with my Vibrant, everything works fine. But I can't mount my phone to the PC.
I‘m using MIUI 1.9.16 and before flash I do mount the system and date.
I love the mod，so any idea why please?

Hi. Can't think what I have changed that would affect PC mounting but there do seem to be a few weird issues floating around. Maybe try restoring your original framework.jar to see if the issue goes away? Or maybe try clearing you dalvik cache?

I get a bug where that even when i disable scrolling, my 800x480 wallpapers become cropped and i only see the top left, or top right of the image! When i go to select an image from the gallary to use, it will only let me pick a small square crop, not the full 800x480!

800X480 Are you sure that's the right size?? From memory that's the size of the LockScreen wallpaper not the HomeScreen.
I'm sure you'd get the same issue on the standard launcher trying to use a wallpaper that size.. Try 960x800.

Yeah, i'm trying to change the home screen wallpaper but i want to use my standard sized ones, not scrolling ones. So i've disabled scrolling with your mod, but when i go to choose wallpaper in MIUI (custom wallpaper from SD card not from a theme) it wont let me select the full size, only crop to scrollable size.
I'm running a Galaxy S2 which has a weird 800x480 res

No offense to n e one but u got guys in here requesting more features asking questions like how do u change logo. When u have other people in here with real issues, like myself I can't receive mms with the native app. This isn't directed towards u andy cause I understand ur a busy man and if u can't pin point exactly how or wht can b causing this issue with the nexus s don't even sweat it . Thank u for ur works andy

I have been looking into this but can't figure it out. The Nexus S framework.jar and the framework.jar I use are identical.
I was thinking of speaking to roenano to see if we could maybe use the automodder functionality? So I'd remove the framework.jar from the mod. Then if you wanted the overscroll function each user could run a script which pulled the framework.jar from the phone, modded it then pushed back to phone.. That might work better?? But wouldn't know for sure until it was tried.. In the meantime I'd suggest you push the framework.jar from your ROM to see if the issue goes away. You'd still be able to use all the other extended settings that way..

For those of you that have trouble getting the new settings to show up. Be sure to mount /system in recovery before flashing otherwise it probably won't take effect.

It's a nice idea, but I don't think I could mod the framework-res.apk. I'm pretty sure it changes with each device so I'd have to make the mod device specific which I'd love to do, but I know I don't have the time or resources to do that....
Correct, unless youhad people with different phones make the prescribed changes for you. LOL
i have 1.9.9 installed on my droid2 and it disables wallpaper scrolling. if i use an image from my gallery, it shifts the picture off center to the left about 3/4 of an inch. what a bummer!!

Try turning scrolling on, get the wallpaper where you want it and then turn scrolling off. That's what I do and it seems to stay where it's told!!
