New No poweroff google animation in Nexus S

Hi guys,

the google animation that usually is showing up if i press the power button to turn the screen off is not there anymore. Or to be more precise, from time to time, it will show up, but in 80% of the cases it won't.
As far as i remember, this never really worked with any MIUI rom. It really starts to piss me off ( i know, it's just an animation ). Any chance to fix this?

It disappears if you set the animation scale to be less than .5x (Developer Options).

I tried it but that doesn't work. Also, it is not possible to set the scale less then 0.5

Set all animations to 1x...

That was the default setting and i set it again but didn't change anything
