New Picture in Picture mode is not working on Redmi 5 Plus (vince)

Picture in Picture mode on latest 8.11.8 is not working when I use gestures for navigation. When using navbar, everything is working as it should, for instance, pressing home button in youtube vanced minimize it to pop up window, but swiping up (when gestures are enabled) does not do this.

I posted in the 8.11.8 thread that PiP is not working for some apps in Max1 Prime (helium).
Works for VLC, not for Maps or Firefox.

It does not have gestures.

Do you still have the settings for PiP?
They are gone in Max1.
