Poco F3: Fingerprint option missing after Power button replacement

I replaced the power button on my Poco F3 with an original one that I bought from someone selling spare parts from broken phones. Now, the fingerprint option is missing from the Settings, and when I go into the Hardware Test Menu (CIT) to test the Fingerprint sensor, it says "Unknown Fod sensor type. Test failed!"

There is no app for the Fingerprint sensor in Manage Apps under All apps, so I cannot use the "Clear data and cache" option.

I don't know if it matters, but I did have the fingerprint set up with the original sensor, so maybe that's why it's not working now with this one. Will a Factory reset maybe help, or is there some other option. Is the sensor that I bought bad, and I need to buy a new one?

What does a number on the power/sensor cable mean? Do I need to find a power button/cable with the same number as original, or does that not matter?

did you find any solution? same thing here
The one I bought was faulty. Even though there was no visible physical damage, that was the problem. I bought another one and everything was working as it should.

Thank you for the reply. I didn't change mine; it just stopped working today, and everything else you described is the same. Do you know the price, and do they replace the button on the same day?

I replaced it myself, so unfortunately I can't tell you anything about the price. You can probably find the power button for about 10 euros. There are some replacements out there, but I don't really know about their quality. I suggest you buy the original one from someone who is selling parts from an original phone.
