appreciate your advice re my redmi note 2
i have several g mail accounts. one is an organizational one administered by Columbia University (NY)
i can sign onto my private gmail accounts no problem. or add them in the accounts section of phone settings
but when i try to log into the one administered by CU i get a message
"there was a problem connecting to alumni.columbia.edu"
on several other phones (i phone LG G3 and 4 ZTE and Meizu) - trying to set up that account
directs me to an internal CU info service page for a second layer sign in (normal behavior)
any ideas why the note 2 does not allow this???
