Hello everyone,

I've recently updated my Xiaomi 12T Pro to the latest HyperOs firmware (version 1.0.2.0) and have encountered a recurring issue where the device randomly performs a fast reboot. This issue, which I refer, happens without any warning or apparent trigger.

Device Information:

  • Model: Xiaomi 12T Pro (DITING)
  • Firmware: HyperOs 1.0.2.0
Issue Description:

  • The device randomly reboots quickly, interrupting usage.
  • Frequency: Happens sporadically, without any specific pattern.
  • Prior Actions: Occurs during various activities, with no single app or action as a common trigger.
Troubleshooting Steps Already Taken:

  • Factory reset
  • Cleared cache partition
  • Checked for any pending updates
Seeking Help/Feedback:

  • Has anyone else experienced this issue with the same device or firmware version?
  • Any suggestions on potential fixes or workarounds?
  • Recommendations for the best way to report this to the Xiaomi/HyperOs development team.
I appreciate any assistance or advice the community can offer and hope that by bringing this to attention, it might expedite a resolution from the developers.

Thank you!

Try to make logcat.
Sending the logcat now or wait to the restart issue to be one more time?

Downgrading is possible, but you'll have to clean flash it.... and that means loosing data.

Tehe same issue with Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE (3 devices), HyperOS 1.0.1.0 UNKOCNXM. Maybe restart relates with picture activity - opening in gallery, opening in Signal.

Another bug: Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE, checked Advanced restart menu, but no effect. Still classic restart menu.

Hi all.

Getting random reboots every few days on Mi 11 Lite 5G NE (LISA) too. Hyper OS 1.0.1.0 UKOCNXM

No pattern for it happening. Just suddenly the device freezes a bit and I get the HyperOS loading screen.

same problem here. tried multiple ways but not able to solve this problem. Looks like this is a bug from xiaomi updates.

Hmm, this is an interesting topic. I've had two 12T Pros, used both equally, and the interesting thing is that one of them had this problem of completely random reboots no matter what system I was using on it. One day during installation it rebooted and literally froze. I sent it to a service center and it's still there today, they can't fix it, only with replacement parts.
The other 12T Pro has been working ever since, so far there has been no such phenomenon.
I think something happened to these 12T Pro models during the manufacturing process. Or maybe there were issues with the first releases of HyperOS, and this caused it to appear on several 12T Pro models in a row. Of course I could be wrong! I don't know anything about other models, I don't know them!

Hi same problem here, Updated Poco F3 as recommended to HyperOS 1.0.2.0 and since then the phone became unstable, reboot many time a day, fingerprint unusable...
It's insane to release a so buggy firmware and leave us like that... This problem has been for months from what i can see here...
Very disappointed with Xiaomi now...

This morning when I waked up my 12T pro start to reboot itself and seems never to end but after a while it stopped after I tried everything. And of course I am not alone with this problem and no one seems to have a solution. HyperOS 1.0.7.0. Updated to this latest not so long time ago.
To solve this is it to through this telephone and never buy Xioami more since many models have this problem or what is your suggestion?

Using 12t pro diting 1 year. Never expirienced such problem. Installed from miui 14.07 till hyperos 1.0.7.
On hyperos have some stupid bugs like no menu on caller from 1.0.5 hyperos. There was a problem with sms notificaation, but its solved. Try to test phone 1 day without anything installed. Just login to google play store and nothing else. If the problem still persist, maybe it faulting phone. Do not connect phone to wireless net because router can be infected and send some stupid stuff to phone

Having the reboot problem for some days now I have tried everything. 1 thing have worked for me and I found information from another on internet. It seems at least that there is a problem with the power button and this makes it reboot. By removing telephone protection and put the phone up so you can quickly punch the power button everywhere while starting my seems to go out of the loop and runs. Yesterday it was rebooting for 2-3 hours and I got it working with this after and it have worked after as well :). I will keep this going and maybe see what it cost to replace the powerbutton. I also changed to use the screen buttons to close close the screen. Hope this makes it work better

Guys i have to say that this problem has resolved in 1.0.3.0 but the moderator should mark it as solved

After upgrading from miui14 to hyperos i suggest each one to make a format or wipe data.

There are many I have read that have wiped all data and it still have the same problem. This solution sound like it is coming from Xioami. Xioami should make a statement on this if this is the case. Have they done that?
