Hi.
From today I have a problem with GooglePay. Yesterday I could pay normally, but today not. I nothing changed from yesterday.
- Xiaomi.eu 12.0.2 (stable)
- orange fox 11.1.1 (stable)
- no root
- no magisk
- Google play protect certificate (ok)
- all apps in Google play up to date
- NFC (ok)
- screen lock (ok)
- Google pay default app (ok)
Only:
- safetyNet: CTS profile match (fail)

I tried clear cache/dalvik but without results.

Does anybody have an idea?

Same here, Joyeuse w/ unrooted Miui 12.0.4.0. Google play stays certified, though. I will check again later.

No issue on my Mi 9T but many Xiaomi devices seem affected by this issue...

I just update to 12.0.4.0 (stable) and I lost Google play protect certificate.

Checked on Joyeuse with stock rom and CTS check passes. Seems to be a rom error then.

You checked against V12.0.4.0.RJZMIXM Official Global ROM? If it's not, then it doesn't prove it's a Xiaomi.eu ROM isssue.

its unlocked BL issue.. Google updated something on their side.. we have to find out another workaround..

Could it be targeted, then? I.E model specific? I have a Mi 8 unrooted using Miui 12.5.1 by xiaomi.eu and it passes cts check just fine.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. My main concern are nfc payments and whether they'll be blocked or not. That was the reason I didn't root my phone in the first place. I'll be back with updates.

Used the method described. All seems okay, haven't tested nfc payments yet due to stores being closed, but all tests are positive right now. Will update further.

Google pay app says it's not configure but I just pay via NFC without any problems.

Poco x3p, even stock rom without root with unlocked BL is affected, so it's either root & workaround or stock & relock BL at the moment.
