I cant find any option concerning magnifying glass.. Isnt it that pointer-move thing when texting? mine is extremely annoying, blocking word suggestions..

Hey, hope my answer could be somewhat helpful to you.

With regard to your first problem, miui has LBE partially built in to the system(Not all the functions are included )
So when you install LBE, it may conflict with the system. I suggest you delete the system LBE yourself .

To your second problem, the miui development team is working in it right now. This bug should be resolved by next couple of weeks.

The third problem, you have to understand the main MIUI site provides miui rom mostly to Chinese users. So maybe you should try out those modified version at the xda forum. Those roms should include the proper GPS configuration file in the system.

In regard to your apps to sdcard problem, in the initial release of miui for i9100, the majority of people have a lots of FCs, and the development team discovered this is mainly result from "apps to sdcard" function. So they eventually disable this function in later builds.

The last two problems should be fixed in the next couple of weeks.

PS: Google translate really sucks, we don't understand the Chinese translated out of that thing....
PS2: Don't put hopes on having those bugs fixed really soon, MIUI always treats their own Xiaomi Phone in priority.

Personally I think they should just go back to a CyanogenMod base, things were much more stable back in the gingerbread days. They keep supporting new phones even though phones like the I9100 have had a lot of bugs since their release.

I'll keep this topic updated, so we do not have to make a new thread for the bugs every week. I hope the developer will get this information somehow, so we can help them to develop this amazing rom and make it better and better.

- Music player battery drain

Bugs/Problems:

• LBE Guard: Granting root acces doesn't work properly, File Manager applications can not reach the system folders like root/Data or root/sys
  Temporary fix: Install and use SuperSU from Google Play
  
• Move to SD option is unavaiable
• Copy contacts to clipboard not working. You get message contact is copied to clipboard but when you paste nothing happens. This has been there since the beginning,reported about 15 times and never got a response.

- If you are having issues with LBE, try downloading BusyBox from the android market and install the latest version (worked for my root issues).
- They mean delete LBE from the /system/app/ directory and install SuperSU from the market.

When I try to change Network operators "android.phone" FC, I loose connectivity and after a sec it starts up and I'm back online.
Also, Heytell seems to FC as of latest MIUI version.

SGS2, 2.7.27
Same with Stock and Siyah Kernel.

I agree... Nobody knows what the hell are they thinking! Thousands of MIUI users are equally frustrated as you are... I think you might as well just let us Chinese users report the bugs here, cos every single problem you're encountering is surely affecting us too. A lot of users got pissed off, so they go back to stock roms or CM9/10.

MIUI is not what it used to be anymore... We couldn't do nothing to change it...

Still I can not change mobile network FC every time. If I am about to go out of the country I will need to flash another ROM since I can not change operator network. This is one of basic telephone functions and it needs to be fixed.

I have had this problem to. I'm sure its something to do with themes. Are you or have you used a custom theme?

For me I noticed it on a custom theme so I flashed back to stock and it was fine again (It wasn't the theme icon because I checked). After some messing around I found that sometimes it would even do it on stock theme to. I'm using black town theme at the moment and the H icon is working fine.

This hasn't worked since they implemented the MIUI phone ui, however, they are working on a fix so it should work within the next couple of weeks... hopefully.

Has anybody experienced overheating issues? When charging in AC and also when playing games. even for a couple of minutes.

On AC charging, 51deg Celcius (via *#*#4636#*#*).

I even tried on newly flashed (with full wipe) rom. Tried also on 3 siyah kernels 333d, 341, and 352. Also on Fluxi kernel(xxkernel).

The changing network operator bug broke this rom for me. I sm going back to Cm 9. I suggest others too do the same, as devs seem to concentrate on newer devices only.
