Sort home screen icons?

Hi, just been browsing through the xml's in launcher2.apk and come across this in launcher2.apk > /res/Values-en/strings.xml

<string name="menu_sort">Sort home screen icons</string>

Is there an option somewhere in a menu that we can sort the home screen icons with? Im sorry if its been answered but I didn't know this was possible?
