I have ROM STABLE 7.0.16 and I would like to have DEV_ROM_5.12.24. My steps will be next:

1. Install (via SP_FLASH_TOOL) stable_ROM_7.0.19
2. Install (via SP_FLASH_TOOL) dev_ROM_5.12.24

Will it be OK?

I have the rom - SphinXv2b Stable_Redmi_Note3_MIUI7.1 - V7.1.3.0_Global_ManhIT . since then i can not I install another .... the updater is where you choose the update package that says k can not verify the update , either flash of me always a error brom 2004.. ...need help ...

You CAN'T install roms through UPDATER until you have unlocked bootloader.

s I understand the update can install any ROM that is "Stable" a custom can only through the recovery.

perhaps to look at the XDA developers. I found there SphinX v2b Stable_Redmi_Note3 MIUI V7.1 - V7.1.3.0 Global_ManhIT and is quite well written. Maybe you should ask someone there on the forums or the author of the ROM

I have only one question: Is necessary uncheck the preloader or not? I have seen other guides and always remark the fact of uncheck the preloader or you can brick your phone. Why here does it seem not to be a problem?
