Hello Friends,

I want to Update my Mi4S to the new Android 7 Nougat Update and have some Questions about that.

i always flash this way
Wipe Cache Data/Factory Reset
Wipe Dalvik Cache
Wipe system
Wipe Data

After this Procedure i want to clean Flash the Android 7 Nougat update with the New SuperSU 2.79, is that possible without Problems?

And do i have to Update TWRP? Actual version of TWRP i use is
3.0.2.0-libra-aqua

But i saw there is a TWRP v8 version for aqua? Wich one i have to use?

And why we have to use the libra-aqua version?

So many Questions ;)

How to upgrade to Andoid 7.0:
Install MIUI 6.12.22 before updating to Android 7.0..
Select zip in Updater - menu - select zip
Unlock your bootloader again on Mi4C, Mi4S, MiNotePRO
(check your bootloader status by command "fastboot oem device-info")
Install TWRP for 7.0 via fastboot "fastboot flash recovery twrp.img" "fastboot boot twrp.img"
In case of issues, wipe /data in TWRP
For ROOT use latest SuperSU

Use the latest TWRP from 2017 ... the v8 is from 2016.
If it dont work, use the TWRP for Libra. The Aqua one is bugged

Thank you so much. I've been looking for a guide like this for weeks. Will try it out when I get back home.
