I have a question though? Will SGS2 bugs be fixed in this rom or will have to wait for the next friday's release? thanx.

Hi all! This new version makes it difficult to install on my samsung galaxy s2. In order to finish installing the device is restarted 6 times. After installation, the device runs for 30 - 40 seconds then stops. I have to remove the battery to restart it but after the problem repeats itself. If you are not the only one having this problem please do something, thanks.

ok, what I did

erase data
full wipes
david
format system in mounts and storage

it boots, all fine...
installing all my apps trought market

anyone else do that, and see...no reboots... works fine..

meeee tooo SGS2 full wipe.... random FC and self-reboots WTF? Backups don't work, reboots when restoring...
going back to 2.6.16

Will do some research after work. Maybe re-download Xiaomi's build and rebuilding the ROM. However, nothing showed in the build that would indicate a problem.

What I call a "full wipe" is:
1. factory reset
2. wipe cache
3. wipe Dalvik
4. format System
5. format data
6. format cache
... and then install fresh rom.
This is just me, making sure that it will be a clean install!
And I always do that! After that I restore my settings and apps (using MIUI backup)!
But with this release It's a nightmare.... bootloops, crashes, FCs!!!
In fact, during first boot install, when it installs apps and such, I had 3-4 bootloops! :((((

not working for me guys, did a full wipe flashed but it hangs on the lockscreen and freeze then it will rebooot by itself but still hanging on lockscreen...by the SGS2
Full wiped SGS2 working flawlessly here - check your MD5 and re-flash, don't forget to clear dalvik too, if you still have problems try siyah kernel thats what I am using so might be kernel related?

Wow, u must be kidding? U actually saying that MIUI stock kernel is bad and we have to use siyah? Well than that explains everything! What if I don't want to use other kernels, want to stay with the stock one.... !!!??? Stock kernel always have to be stable for all devices!!!! Please fix it!

I always clear the delvik whenever I install a new ROM update but it still hangs on the lockscreen and freeze then it will reboot by itself. I ended up using the previous version which is 2.6.16... I hope the problem will be resolved ASAP...

I didn't say it was a problem, I was just saying what I am currently using in case it was - I mainly use Siyah for Dual boot and BLN, don't mess around with all the other stuff.
As others have reported no change on kernels I would say re-download, full wipe & dalvik and try again, (maybe try fix permissions as above) with all the traffic it is more likely your download is corrupt.

Ok guys my SGS2 was having the freezing problems too but I think I found a solution. After you do the full wipe and install the rom, go into the play store. Enter your information and download Super SU. Open the app and it will ask for root, which should cause ur phone to freeze. After it reboots, go into the LBE Guard app and manually give the Super SU app root permission. Go into the the Super SU app, update the binary (its does this automatically) and done! Hopefully ur SGS2 wont freeze anymore :D
