I don't find 4G preferred on miui 8 on redmi note 3 pro , how to fix it?

I guest it's from the original rom, on dev rom china also cant find 4G prefered but still connect on 4G network

You need to reflash it clean. Format, don't root during flash. Root it after setup.

hi, i flashed like this
-wipe cache, dalvik, data, system
-install miui 8 zip rom
-reboot system
booted successfully but screen is blinking like that. unable to use.

When you recovered the data, you probably replaced miui8's file. Make surr you don't overwrite some files. When you flash miui8 format the entire primary storage as well not just wipe cache/dalvik.

Wrong rom dude, it's for Redmi Note 1s 4G. For your device rom is HMNoteW.zip

My one day review of 6.6.17 on my Redmi 3,

Things are working fine, smooth OS, beautiful UI.
Root with Super SU are working normally.
I installed Xposed with framework from solarwarez v85, its working but cannot download module from installer, need to manually download from repo.

There are several bugs that i found,
1. No LTE, changing manually from *#*#4636#*#* will automatically revert to WCDMA preferred. Only available on first time install, don't try to change the network mode to anything else or no LTE for your Redmi 3.
2. Little lag when clearing recent apps.
3. Camera FC when using manual mode on back camera then switch to front camera. Require reboot to fix.
4. No Calculator as mentioned.
5. Not sure about this, but it's a bit difficult for me to setup Google Account, takes a really long time to load.

Thanks to developer for this ROM, the best ROM i have tried on my Redmi 3.

I downloaded china rom 6.6.16 from miui.com for testing and instaled google play pico worked good,but i have problem with nework with 7.3 miui my carier signal is full with china rom 6.6.16 very bad sygnal or no signal .Multrom 6.6.16 -Is there the same problem?I waiting for downloading link thanks

I don't have problem with signal. RN2 and china rom 6.6.16

@ingbrzy or dev team, I am seeing more and more issues on MI5 with upgrade from MIUI 7 to Miui 8. [/B]
I had bootloop from 6.5.27 using updater app so had to return back to 6.5.27.
Tried with install from TWRP , dalvik / cache + data which installed ok.
My friend @Michel M had the same , when he rebooted the phone again bootloop.

Does any has a proper guideline / fix for the Mi5 bootloop issues when going from 6.5.xx to 6.6.16 as I am a little scared to reboot my phone to get a bootloop :-(

I've never had any problems with any of the rom you appointment. Maybe you should check your SIM card or switch to another SIM to test the device.

PS: It is also desirable clean installation, if it could be a problem inherited setting.

question guys, for those who have new Mi5, did you flash Miui 8 directly from the ROM which comes already on the phone? or did you flash Miui 7 multi language first, then flashed Miui 8?

Dear ingbrzy, i really liked your firmware, but there's a bug (miui v7 & v8) which I would like to ask you.
On my Xiaomi Mi Note Pro there is a dedicated DAC, in settings designated as Hi-Fi Audio, but when it is turned on,
the volume decreases by 20-25%, that is, in Hi-Fi mode 50% volume is equal to ~30% volume in the Standard mode.
this can be related to your patch increases the number of divisions of the volume?
On firmware other teams (MiuiPro, MultiRom) i have not seen this bug.
