I never understood all this talk about battery. We are all enthusiasts here... Most of us had several phones, tried everything... Look, boys, I changed Roms, changed Kernels, and then look at my phone, like it's gonna land on the Moon.. But, in everyday life, if your job depends on phone, you probably will buy something with smaller screen and more robust housing...

I don't quite understand , but if you get only 2 hours of Sot, that is not normal. I am sure , here are more experienced people than me, who can give you better answer . . . I had similar problem on my Umi few years ago. I erese everything . . . Build a new one . . . You know . .

true words. but from 2 to 4-5 hours is a little big the difference for @darkgod99.

@darkgod99 Try a clean install instead of dirty install (if you do the dirty), freeze some apps that you don't need. read the posts from this thread and maybe you can find some new tricks. maybe you can squeeze another hour.
are so many options that you can do that is difficult to write all
for example here https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/best-sot-by-far.33321/ you can find someone that made 5H and 46 min of SOT but after a very long process. and really I don't think is worthing to spend so much time to make all that changes and after one week you need to make again the same thing. but he managed something interesting, well done

I agree . But , little off topic. . . Battery can be damaged too. . . It is rare... It happens to me on my old Garmin navigation . . Cost 3 packs of Lucky Strike from Ch. . . Even now it works great . And my Umi Zero... constant rebooting....After change of battery, even now (my neighbour have it) works like a pro...

This version has idle battery drain on kenzo again (previous doesnt, the one before previous has it). 20 % drain in 6 hours with airplane mode enabled.

Hello delboy, I have always a minimum of 4 hours SOT
I can do 5 or more hours SOT in about 15 hours standby, or 4 hours SOT in 40 hours standby, whether to use just the phone.
Use as much as possible the stock applications
In Google Account remove unnecessary synchronizations
If possible, use wi-fi, data network consumes much
I work in the office, the brightness is manual on my phone, -50%
often close the RAM
Grant permits for the automatic startup applications only necessary
Charge the phone when is off
If your phone has micro sd, verify that not one problem, my brother had problems, 1.30 minutes SOT, micro sd card always worked. Removed and replaced, problem solved
I removed all the vibrations, keyboard, click clok etc.
My English still not good

Yeah, of course, that screenshot was with previous build (6.8.11), and now I've even make a full wipe. I'm going to bed right now, and I hope that tomorrow morning the battery is OK and the drain is fixed.just cross the fingers

About SD, I have to say that I've just unplugged it just in case, if I see that the battery is stable now, I'll plug it back to see if having a micro SD affects my battery

Already been reported. Bug in the FP scanner keeping the device awake.

Disable "Apply finger print to lockscreen", tested overnight and only 1% battery drain.

Alternatively flashing the Modem from 6.8.11, instructions on page 16, is also reported to resolve the problem.

@ingbrzy is there any possibility to implement by your side a single-fingered-swipe to expand notifications?
I wonder why we have to use two hands to expand a notification.
Please, let me know whether it is possible or not.

It's made by Google, not MIUI.. Use two fingers.. Not two hands..
