instaling this rom (7.3.9) from 6.12.22 with clean install and succesfull in my device (mi 4c)
everything looks good untill i want to transfer data from my PC(windows) and my internal storage can't detect
was try to enable/disable usb debuging but still not detect
any solution for this problem??
help... please...

Did get better on the battery? how much time of screen?

not much improve on battery.. almost same with older rom... 4-5 hours SOT

I had same problem. I did the following to solve that and it worked.



(1) Go to C:\Windows\INF

(2) Type "wpdmtp.inf" in search bar provided to the right of the address bar in Windows 10.

(3) Once you found it, just right click on it and select install. It will take a very few seconds.

(4) Connect your device to the pc.



Done.

Already found thats inf file.. but when i try to install that file can't be installed
there is error messege from windows "the INF you selected does not support this method of installation"
*i'm using windows7 x64

I tried to root with #1

• For root install SuperSU 2.79 in TWRP

but thought updater because twrp touchscreen doesn't work. I cant read what is on the screen because is scrolling so fast and booting immediately. Still have no root.
Can someone tell me how to root mi mix on 7.3.2 ?

How much times i should make a factory reset before sounds in silent mode will disappear? @ingbrzy please, tell me. I've just make another clean install. And I still have sounds when I touch the screen in silent mode. So, how much times? 30, 50, 100?

Hi, recently updated to the last version 7.3.9 my Ido and surprise, my phone can't enter Twrp recovery previously installed, and unable to enter Fastboot too......i activated the options under development options, reset phone with + pressed, i enter the menu and select "recovery" or "fastboot" and the phone restarts normally to the Miui SO. With the computer, y enter Adb and send the command "adb reboot fastboot" and the phones restart to the Miui SO again..... ¿ What happened here ?

Alreday discussed about this on previous pages. Try to start phone with vol up + vol down + pwr.
It worked for me... I also instaled previous version from backup and now the phone rebot to TWRP as expected.

Waiting for next update and hope the bug will be fixed.

I think this version has worst battery life on Kenzo. SOT is about 5 hours. In previous version was about 8.

1. Go to settings, "Sound & vibration" and turn on "Tap sounds"
2. Go to homescreen and turn on silent mode
3. Hold a speaker to your ear and tap icons on your homescreen
Please, write here the results, especially, if you have some very quite sounds, when you tap the screen in silent mode. Have this bug on all Android 7 builds by xiaomi.eu.

Do not waste your time here. Buy a Pixel smartphone, pay Google developers team to update your phone daily. Maybe in the tomorrow update you will find the function of teleportation, mind reading by scanning, and your phone will start to cook for you fried eggs and chips.

Non e' possibile avere batteria 5 ore sot, poi 2 con aggiornamento successivo
Xiaomi adesso ha anche telefoni molto costosi nella gamma, questi devono funzionare bene, il supporto della ROM deve essere fondamentale
Io penso ci sono troppi modelli, questo rende impossibile lavorare bene sullo sviluppo

I completely agree with you.
Doesn't matter if it's Xiaomi or Apple.
Both have qualified developers and they should deliver what customers expect - specially when we're talking about stability and bug fixes.

Hey. If you don't want to clean flash, try the following:
Boot up recovery and go to the file manager,
Then navigate to /data/system/
And look for the following files:

• gatekeeper. password.key
• gatekeeper. pattern.key
• locksettings.db
• locksettings.db-shm
• locksettings.db-wal

Delete them and reboot. You should be set. You'll just have define your password/pattern again.

That would require root access, wright? Anyway it feels disturbingly easy to remove the lock

Yeah confirmed. Clean flash, wipes...etc. don't help in this case. So, nothing to do from users side, please wait for fix from our side...

If active in settings, tap sounds

, a beep sounds every time I touch an icon, but if I put silence mode, then it stops ringing, checked, sorry friend

It was working fine on previous builds, maybe flash 7.3.2 or 7.2.24 would allow to turn it off and than flash again the latest build?

If you flash again latest build then it will overwrite that setting even if it worked in previous builds, so better to wait...

Done, didn`t override, still disabled on latest after switch off on 7.2.24
BTW same on Mi4, disabled after switch off on earlier build
