ROM works fine om HM3S (Land), but booting into recovery via buttons gives an additional screen in Chinese with a blue and a green button. Blue seems the one to go further into TWRP...

Install without wipe. They don't recommend but i always do.

Redmi 3S, first boot after updating no network / no ask for sim pin, after next reboot everything is OK.

Posting this for people who can have similar behavior.

Widget not working individual issue is not xiaomi.eu related. You can see many users with this issue on global MIUI forum as well. Anyway you can fix it with clean isnatll the ROM.

No any issue with automatic brightness it works same way as before. Only change is now you can see visually the current brightness level on the slider set by automatically, but you can manually overwrite it anytime. Anyway it is official MIUI feature.

Idle battery drain also known official MIUI ROM related issue.

You use fingerprint? disable it and see what is happening after some hours.

I use a software called Quick Boot to reboot to recovery. Is it OK to reboot from it and install update?

Yep, It is same to go to recovery with updater app
