I think it's better to put some warning for Kenzo-ers (and also Mi4c & Mi4s users) who is using dev ROM 7.9.14 and older (people who is using 7.9.21 or newer ROM won't have problem upgrading) to prepare for the possibility of re-locked bootloader ..

WARNING (really important) for Kenzo-ers, Mi4c-ers, Mi4s-ers :
1. This is for OFFICIALLY UNLOCKED BOOTLOADER ONLY.
2. MAKE SURE your device is USING the SAME Mi Account you used to unlocked the bootloader.
3. Turn on USB Debugging & OEM Unlocking in the Developer Options.
4. Make sure your bootloader is still unlock (Fastboot mode, type 'fastboot oem device-info').
5. After upgrading, some people had their bootloader re-locked and bootloop, fortunatelly once you unlocked the bootloader officially, you can use Mi Unlock tool to unlock it again without asking for permission.
6. Backup important data on your phone to SD Card or PC ... better safe than sorry, right?).

I forgot, can we change led notif color on Mi 5 ?

And, how to go to trusted device menu? When connect to my car bluetooth there a notif to add that car audio as trusted device, so It will unlock automatically when connected.

Clean application data from settings / applications. It solves.

It looks like this is a server issue, rather than rom related. After several refreshing attempts it finally updates data.

Had same issue with my Redmi Note 3 Pro Prime, unlocked with mi unlock, no problem after unlocking.....and no data loss...phew!!!

Kenzo, Mi4s and Mi4c on ROM 7.9.14 and earlier, but if the device was officially unlocked then re-unlocking should be as easy as running mi flash unlock and press unlock.

No idea about Mi5s, I don't have the device and has no experience with that.

Hi, I'm not an expert, but I've had a similar experience. In my case, it happened that when updating from the rom stable 8.5.3 to the week 7.10.19_v9-6.0 version I found an annoying bug, the screen is blocked when I receive a call. Afterwards I returned to the stable version and it did not work well, the calls do not ring, it does not store the calls, etc ... Finally, after 3 days trying to recover the functions I installed another week version, formatting cache and I recovered it, the problem of the screen is not activated when receiving a call, I have to press the button. I do not know if it will help you in something because my English is of google translator. Greetings

I know it. But i on work now. My work PC not have Windows OS. It have only Linux Mint. MiFlash Unlock dont work on *nix OS, only ADB and Fastboot.

At first, when there's a notification, this menu showed up. But I can't find my previous connected device at "Lockscreen & password/advanced settings/unlock with Bluetooth device"
I think it's different.

In MIUI before, there a menu like this:

That notification what you get after connected to Bluetooth device (set as trusted device) is from Google trust agent and it doesn't work (and never worked) with miui even if you accept set as trusted device.

Furthermore the Unlock with Bluetooth device integrated MIUI feature works with Xiaomi devices only eg. MiBand2...etc.

You could try boot to fastboot and issue this 'fastboot oem unlock' or 'fastboot oem unlock-go', it worked for a friend here with his re-locked bootloader.
