Indeed. Video quality decreases a lot. I'm waiting for the mix 3 camera software as well.

I'm trying to install this on a Mi 6X, but I keep getting:

I have mi 6 with broken home button so i'm using swype gesture for it, but home gesture is not working, back and change app is fine, but home swype is not working. Any help?

I'd root with magisk and install app to enable android soft buttons (on screen as nexus)

usually in all phones I have had it worked in this way; you have ringtone by default but when a media is played it change from ringtones to media. that's it. and that's makes sense. Why shoould I want to change media volume if not listening to a media?

@ingbrzy what you think, could it be possible implement this feature for mi8? pixel3rom for mi8 (dipper) has it in developer options in XDA, and its very very cool feature.. one of the best..
and note: its different hide/notch off than before.. its make phone like it has no notch at all.. so full statusbar etc..

I can make it work with miui 10 stable, but it has no work with after updates, i can make hardware buttons work but it can cause issues like small camera button... So i wanna make that swype work

No.. It's a worst notch hide I have ever seen... Let's do it more effectively...
on 8.10.25 my mi 5s phone was working like a rocket, i dirty flashed this version and it was really buggy, maps navigations not working. I clean install it and it is laggy like old pc computers, you cant use phone. i installed magisk beta 17.3 with rom, maybe magisk is getting me this lag problems? i now switched back to 8.10.25 and magisk stable 17.1 everything is fine...

No such issue for me. It's the best beta update so far for MI 8.
Battery life is excellent although I froze several MI related apps (Launcher, Phone, Messaging, Video, Cloud, Account, etc.) and use Nova with Prime + Textra + Google Phone + Photos, Sphinx Kernel 1.7, etc.
I am loving it.
