MIUI 14 MIUI 14 STABLE RELEASE

Can I install A13 TWRP on top of my A12? When I try to do it from A12 it does not find the img file of the A13 in Advanced->Install Recovery Ramdisk in internal storage (0MB).

Thank you!
If the device you're using does use a recovery ramdisk you can try booting the new version temporarily from fastboot and see if your internal storage shows up. See the how-to install custom recovery thread in the Q&A section of the forum.

That explains the Hybrid tag on renoir. Really looking foreward to this!
I can't root my phone because of a banking app. unlocking bootloader is ok though. Removing bloatware with pm uninstall is fine for me. Blocking ads over vpn and pihole as well.
But I can't update my phone. Twrp won't work - no touch (odinx). So the only update method would be fastboot.
You probably can still root, but you have to add the banking app to the deny list in Magisk and hide Magisk Manager under a different package name. Both settings are in the Magisk Manager app. You may also need the SafetyNetFix from KDrag0n. You can Google that. Doing this makes Samsung Pay work for example, which generally doesn't if you're rooted.

Since the only MIUI 14 .EU ROM available is a fastboot ROM for Xaga, that is all that is officially supported right now. You CANNOT update your device via recovery yet.
BUT, If you bothered to look in the Q&A section, there is a Xaga vendor boot partition recovery available (which is about a month old now and barely downloaded, and doesn't list the android version supported as it should, so you should consider it completely untested).
Instructions to flash it are also in the same thread...
Thanks for your answer. I had looked for it and found the unofficial file and installation commands, and there was also a note to install to the vendor partition. The installation command was fastboot flash vendor_boot twrp xxxx.img What I notice now is that ab was not given to the command. I will try it and report back.

Good morning guys, I have a little problem with my Xiaomi MI 11 Ultra, I tried searching in other forums on this site but I didn't find the solution, I'll try here hoping I'm not wrong....
When I go to download a new theme from the Themes app it gives me this error:
Could not download:300004
I have the new MIUI 14 Xiaomi.eu, did any of you have the same problem and how did you solve it?
Thanks so much
Okay, I tested this a few days ago and the themes didn't work. Tried again, everything is back to normal. Mist have been something on the server side.

We're looking for the breakdown below that, not the chart of the total consumption. That doesn't tell us anything about what exactly is using the power.

Also dark mode should improve battery since you have an AMOLED screen and not an LCD screen. Then it doesn't waste energy lighting up every pixel to full brightness when it doesn't have to. LCD screens work the opposite way, so dark mode will use more power on those.
I changed to dark mode, thanks. I am now on 3,5 screen on time. Battery is down to 30 something percent. The screen is eating the most energy which is not surprising. Could set it to a lower resolution and refresh rate but who does that :). I'm just curious if this screen on time, probably around 5 hours is normal (after all the phone is more than a year old).

Your screen is still using ALOT of power. For example on my F3 on this charge it has been active 21hrs 22min, 3hrs 32min screen on time since I didn't use the phone that much yesterday, and my screen power use is 400mah. Are you using auto brightness? I would definitely try turning down the refresh rate on your phone and see if it helps. You can always switch it back if it doesn't.
My F3 is also a year old. I have 40% left currently, and I used 30minutes worth of voice calls yesterday for comparison.

Dear Staff or admin, I'm from Laos country, please can you add Laos language menu from Global rom to eu rom, thank you for the great Rom that I use regularly

What the hell is "odinx"? If you're using an outdated release from TWRP.me, then that's your problem... It was built for Android 11...
TWRP by skkk for odin exists for a long time in both Android 12 and Android 13 variants.
By the way, if you're "removing bloatware" on our ROMs, don't report any issues on the forum. Blocking ads with VPN can also cause issues with apps like Themes and App vault, so it's on you.

Great, yes , I am using auto brightness. Will deactivate that and see if that makes a difference. After that I will try the 60hz suggestion and see if I can get it down to your numbers. Thanks for the suggestions!

Auto brightness usually is fine, but maybe it's keeping your screen too bright for some reason. I thought maybe you had it set to full brightness all the time or something based on the power consumption.

Ah, okay. No, full brightness is a bit too bright for me. Auto brightness is now off, let's see what happens. Now I know that the screen should use less energy so thanks..

never tried renaming the magisk package, everything else... no luck. not even using second space,

A lot of apps check for the presence of magisk manager. If it's not hidden, then many apps will assume you're rooted just based on the known package name being installed, hence the renaming/hiding feature for the package name. It was the same way with Screen2Auto. Google initially was banning based on package name alone before moving on to more sophisticated detection techniques.

Hi,
I like your ROM very much, and thank you for your hard work! The ROM works very good, fast and smooth, but I have one issue with some apps. After different times (sometimes hours, sometimes days) a handful of apps are crashing and I don't know the reason. The app seems to open, but crash, and when I try to start it again it only "flickers" for a short moment. But the good news is - when I try to open this app again, there comes a window with a bug-report from MIUI (appending this posting). And when this happens to one of these apps, then there are simultaneously 4 or 5 other apps affected of this issue. After a restart of the phone, everything is fine.

But I have observed the following: when this happens, there is a problem with the section "passwords & security". At this moment, it is no longer possible to open these settings. The only thing that helps here is a restart of the device.

Maybe one of the developers can have a look at the bug-report and solve the problem?

EDIT: i have an Xiaomi MI 11 Lite 5G and use the latest Firmware (xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11Lite5G_V14.0.6.0.TKICNXM_v14-13.zip)

Looks like you have some kind of corruption in your keystore. It's clearly a low-level issue, a clean flash might help, but I don't have any other ideas.

@Igor Eisberg : thank you for your quick reply!

I'm sorry, but I can't understand the term "Keystore Exception". What exactly does that mean?

But I already had this error with the previous version of the firmware and that's exactly why I installed the current version of the firmware as a "clean installation". Unfortunately, the error still occurs. But could it be because the apps were restored by a backup program?

No idea. Your keymaster fails with internal error code -1000 (KM_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ERROR) and public error code 10 (ERROR_KEYMINT_FAILURE).
No idea what it means or why it happens, I never saw anything like this before.
You might want to read about what keystore/keymaster are here: https://source.android.com/docs/security/features/keystore

Folks, every time the developer cooks in ROM, is the translation repository accessed, obtaining the most current strings?

I ask this question, because after 2 weeks of use I identified some places with translation errors and I intend to collaborate with corrections and new translations.

Repo: Brazilian-Portuguese (RicardoGuariento)

I have a Poco X3 Pro (vayu). Is it ok to update from xiaomi.eu 13 stable to 14 stable with the actual versions of TWRP/OrangeFox? I'm asking cause they're intended for Android 12.

Updating, most likely yes, don't know if TWRP will be able to decrypt data once Android 13 is booted for the first time.
In any case, you're asking a theoretical question which we can't definitely answer, we're not TWRP developers.
It's a Hybrid ROM, you can always update using Fastboot if you have any doubts.
