I'm currently on 20.10.15, Mi 10 Ultra and I've rooted my device. Will the root be gone after installing Android 11?

Can i just upgrade by dirty flashing this ROM over the stable?

You can try but from stable to beta clean install might needed

I have been using the weekly on my mi8 and Note 10 with much Joy. Are there problems with mi 10 Ultra?

I guess you installed, in the previous ROM version, a Magisk module related to the camera, no? Try to uninstall it > Reboot > reinstall it.

So, check your installed Magisk module(s) and take a screenshot of the *View summary* page (of the crash) if it is still crashing.

And quite an annoying one. Several apps keep closing automatically after 5 seconds.

Also videos in whatsapp have the same behaviour.

Does anyone noticed the same?

Even with NRG App. Any tips or Magisk Modules?

For those that keep mentioning about apps crashing. I have had the mi 10 pro, and now the mi 10 ultra. Been back and forth between stable eu and weekly and yet to experience these constant app closures.

I have experienced a reboot once in a while... But it's very rare and I understand that's these are betas so it won't be the best

You can check a few things.

1. Is it a particular app?
2. Is it a corrupt installation?
3. Could it be that there are apps you have installed that's not compatible with newer versions of android and are causing serious system instability.

Most app issues are solved by deleting and reinstalling the particular app. If not...

Clean install of the rom is the way forward.

Remember these are betas and not everything will work as it supposed too.

Hello, what would be the correct way to flash on MI10 (umi) to avoid problems with twrp?

Because it has been reported that umi is now starting to have problems with TWRP, unless we are told otherwise, I shall be loading TWRP via Fastboot. And then dirty installing the new ROM the normal way through TWRP. I shall be doing the necessary wipes and deletes, and then my normal TWRP backup first though, just in case!
