Mi 10 Pro 12GB 512GB

I don't know where to start but the update has so many bugs ...

I completely reset the phone to the factory settings and reinstalled everything ... nothing works since 2 updates ... unfortunately we are getting worse instead of better ...

In darkmode you can often not read the writing, it is easy to see a white bar instead of text

app get stuck, crashed ...

many many games cant started and crashed instant

The alarm clock does not work ... I cannot change the time and if it is changed and it rings, I cannot switch it off and have to restart the mobile phone

fingerprint no longer works in many apps ... e.g. banking apps, steam, battlenet

VoLTE has an incredibly poor quality since 2 updates with 4G, 4G + and 5G ... robotvoice ...

when closing apps, the closing animation stops and hangs on the desktop ...
Errrm... No! I have none of these problems on my Mi 10 Pro.

Hello everyone tired of the bugs on my mi10 especially for whatsapp that I could not send audio files longer than 4 sec and having difficulty reading them. I entered twrp wipe and in the first screen where it says wipe data, dalv and cache (not including internal storage) I did swip then installed again the 20.8.20 did swip dalv and cache. Restarted I had to reinstall the apps and did the usual procedure of selecting language etc. etc. once everything is finished now everything is back to normal both whatsapp and everything else. I usually don't wipe data, dalv and cache when I update. I hope it will be of help for those with problems Invia commenti Cronologia Salvate Community

Guess no but I'll give a try, is Google pay working now?

What is this process and why is it terribly eating up my wife's phone battery and mine ? Mi8
android.system.suspend@1.0 -service ??

Report it to theme developer, he did not theme the icons!

Really??
It's the same theme I was using on MIUI 9, 10 and 11 and all icons were ok. Does it need to be updated on a new build?
Are you doing it every time on your dark theme as well??

  1. When taking screenshots, 90% of the times the system captures the moment that the screen is darkened to reproduce the "snapshot" effect. This gives the result that the picture taken is greyed, meaning it is darker than the captured screen.
Forgot to attach a demo of issue #1

Here's a screenshot of Google's homepage: you can clearly see that the image it's greyed compared to the original background color.

@ingbrzy I just also realized that this last build introduced a sort of bug on the screenshot side. Most of the screenshot I've taken since last update are resulting to be corrupt in gallery and it can't be read. Any other device reported, which is facing this?

Does anyone know where the control center is located at the root of the system please?

Am I missing something or why did my CtsProfile and basicintegrity change to false?
When enabling/disabling Magisk Hide, rebooting etc it doesnt change.

Is it just me or did something happen in the meantime?

What Magisk module(s) did you install? Seems an issue from a Magisk module (EdXposed or SafetyPatch by example). ;)

Well, i did just out of curiosity install EdXposed but removed it after a day. I do know that it causes conflicts, but I also uninstalled Magisk and reinstalled it again...didn't help. A few moments back I updated to this new RoM version and also, uninstalled and reinstalled Magisk with no change as well.

Modules which I use are :

Magisk Hide
320bit audio recording for camera
48mpx mode
Busybox - as i tried some terminal commands as a fix - which failed as well.
Also have luckypatcher but i doubt it cases problems, since it was working with it a few weeks back.

So I'm wondering, even the Edxposed is removed, and all was reinstalled...how come that i still cant get true values?

Try to disable "320 Kbps" and "48 mpx" modules, reboot your device and check SafetyNet via "SafetyNet Test" app. ;)

If it still fail, I suspect EdXposed module...
Maybe you can try to find a way to proper uninstall it. :)

EDIT: If not, do a clean install (Format Data)... :(

LuckyPatcher can mess up SafetyNet too...

Thanks for the tips.
I did manage to make it work. Here is how for anyone who maybe gets the same problem:

"Switched in Magisk Manager Settings to "Core only Mode" and rebooted. Then cleared cache of play services and cache and storage of play store after force stopping both. Deactivated "Core only Mode" and rebooted. SafetyNet Check passes again."

Thank god and Google I didn't need to make a factory reset :)

Cheers,
Orange.

Hi,

I've updated from miui12 weekly 20.5.28 to 20.8.20 and now sim2 slot does no longer recognize the sim card and on sim slot1 I only have mobile internet lte connection but no telephony anymore.

Before updating, I took an extensive backup with OrangeFox including all partitions, but restoring the whole backup also doesn't solve the problem as an attempt to help myself out.

Please advice how I can get my sim slot 2 function back and get slot 1 to phone again.

Thank you.
