OK, this TrueDualBoot thing really makes me interested. I'm kinda new to Xiaomi's system though. My previous device only has one system partition with real sdcard, so I can backup easily to sdcard. How can I backup my data partition before enabling TDB and restore it after?

Mi2 uses a extra partition which is used as sdcard. formatting data doesn't delete your (virtual) sdcard.

OK, so in other words, backing up data partition, installing CWM + restore data and my device is TDB ready with previous OS + data completely restored as before? *still a bit afraid*

Yippie! Got TDB enabled with MIUI on system1 and AOSP on system2, everything except google hangout (or google play services to be precise) properly restored from backup.

Can you please update to latest CWM and add the touch capabilities
MI-one plus has it
Also while formatting system it has options system/system1 instead of that you can write current/other if it indicates the same or fix it with system1/system2 irrespective of which is the active system
If it depends upon active system could you consider to change it as current/other same goes with data and dalvik cache too
Anyways thanks a lot for your wonderful recovery
I love CWM

I think calling it current/other is totally confusing because then there wouldn't be a way for you to know if you are in System1 or System2.

Ok but if i'm in system1 it shows system/system1 even in system2 it shows system/system1
I think its confusing too....
Better way is if i'm in system1 it should show system/system2
If I'm in system2 it should show system/system1
What do you say?? If it shows System and System1 everytime it doesn't actually make sense
Allows can you add touch capabilities... My very old LG Optimus One has everything (TWRP,CWM) on touch based

If that's better depends on your point of view. I see recovery mode very abstracted because it technically is.
It's another bootmode so it doesn't matter if your boot settings are set to system1, system2, or whatever..
That's my opinion, but if most people think like you I would change it.

About touch: official CWM Touch version isn't possible because it's closed source. Well I could reverse engineer it but that would be nasty :D
And TWRP will come in future maybe but currently it has no priority. cm10.2 is more important.
