New [21.5.27] Mi 9 Wireless charging crashing constantly

Issue occured after updating from Global stable to 20.12.28 and still occurs on 21.1.6.
Whenever I charge my phone using original Xiaomi 20W Qi desk charger or 20W Qi car charger my phone stops charging after a few minutes, then restores charging after like one minute and whole process repeates every few minutes. It increases charging time noticeably.
Phone gets quite hot, but I don't remember if it's hotter than it was on Global Stable.

Strange that it's partial working for you . On my Mi 9 wireless charging doesn't even start with the 20W charger.

Also on the first Android 11 Update. Green LED on charger only flashes and charging does not start.

I have the same problem.
Wireless charging stopped working correctly after update.
When i use wireless charging the first notification on the phone, stops charging.

The wireless charing stops working randomly every few minutes.

I didn't know if it was related at first. Your post said System UI: The "Glow" charging animation is not working. [Some Android 11 devices]
With this issue it crashes on every animation and because of that it stops phone from charging...

After turning off charging animation surprisingly it works with no problems!

Doesn't work for me. Even with the animation turned off, charging doesn't start.

Question: Does wireless charging work while in recovery?

Because I get the same flashing LED in recovery (OrangeFox) also. So it's either Firmware (not ROM) related or coincidentally some hardware related to wirelss charging broke after upgrading to Android 11.

After some more charging cycles it happens less without animation but still happens.

Does wireless charging work when in recovery? I still try to find out if my problem may be a broken componenent instead of a software problem.

On 21.1.14 wireless charging with animation turned off crashes as often as on 21.1.6 with animation turned on. So instead of fixing it this update only made matter worse.

Log in attachement. Just change extension to zip and unpack it as otherwise it wouldn't let me upload.
Battery stopped charging at around 10:32 then started charging again.
I'm on 21.1.20.

Did you try turning back to Global ROM maybe? It's very annoying.

I came from miui 12 and dirty flashed my mi 9 to 21.1.20.Fingerprint unlock works much faster now. Regarding turbo charging on 20w desktop charger, it work without any problems but I must say that het phone is getting much hotter than usual.
On my xiaomi 20w car charger turbo charge also works, but when on charger while opening new app the charging animation pops up shortly. This I will need to reproduce the next time when I get into my car. Then I will update my findings. Update: disabled animation in settings.

I had the same problem since the first MIUI 12.5 ROM for the Mi 9. The last weeks ROM made it a bit better but since the todays ROM it works for me perfectly without any crashes.

Funny enough:

I have two different 20W wireless charging devices. The 20W stand by Xiaomi and the 20W Pad by Xiaomi. The pad was always working and was showing turbo charge. The only device i had issues with was the black 20w stand that was working before the update.

I've made some tweaks in the latest release, might be why it works fine now. More confirmations are needed though.
