For some reason the debbuging USB was off, i turned it on, and then this happened:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img
target reported max download size of 805306368 bytes
sending 'recovery_ab' (102400 KB)...
FAILED (data write failure (Unknown error))
finished. total time: 0.019s

C:\Program Files (x86)\Minimal ADB and Fastboot>fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img
target didn't report max-download-size
sending 'recovery_ab' (102400 KB)...
FAILED (command write failed (No error))
finished. total time: 0.003s

I tried to flash the exact same ROM, but still bootloop. You can try to do this, and if that fails, flash any rom later than your current, and let's see if that works. I gave up trying (because i have a backup), so i started as if i just got this phone, and restored the backup as a last step.

You can also wait for any insight from other forum members.
Thank you.

Somebody else can help me?

Dude its name is not recovery.img. It will be the name of your own twrp

My device is 12X 'psyche' and I'm on the lastest weekly of MIUI 13 and I have installed TWRP from that time. My question is, can I just update my TWRP to TWRP for A13 from the option of the recovery itself? And then I just install the ROM normally without doing any formatting or delete anything and I will have MIUI 14?

Thank you.

Yes, you can install the new twrp with the advanced>install recovery ramdisk option. Then you can update the rom without formatting.

Hi,
I have a Mi 11 Ultra. I booted to the new TWRP, after the TWRP don't see the DATA partition and inside "SD card". I can't mount the DATA partitions. This new rom succesfully install from an OTG pendrive, but the problem is the same, the TWRP don't see data partiton, and don't ask the pin code. The phone can't boot to the system. Somebody can help me please?
are u sure that you installed the right twrp?

Your first mistake is using "Minimal ADB and Fastboot" when the guide clearly says to never use outdated fastboot tool, and a link to latest is right there.

Not sure why compared with MIUI 13, MIUI 14 is much faster and smoother, even the internet speed is noticeably faster. Very interesting.

Hi, anyone knows how to watch movie in full screen? In android 12 it was in full screen, but now there is a black bar where is front camera. Maybe it is mx plaer app problem?

Good afternoon, I achieved it with the following:

fastboot flash recovery (Name).img

later:

fastboot boot (name).img

it reboots itself and boots into TWRP

When installing the Rom I only got the error once you restart without deleting anything and install again and that's it
