Updated redmi 2 2014813 from last weeks build to 6.6.23 through the updater app, no wipes, and works fine.

Its possible to update from 6.6.16 to 6.6.23 from the updater app? Or I have to update from twrp? Whats option do I have to choose on twrp to not loose any off my data and app installed?

EDIT: Ive just installed from updater app...It opened the twrp when I ve choosed the update package...so i ve eaited to instaled and after it finished I rebooted phone from twrp...everthing looks ok right now

Right now running on latest Xiaomi.eu weekly MIUI 7,
Unlocked botloader(unofficial way)
TWRP (alka) 3.0.0
Rooted

Now I want to upgrade to this MIUI 8 weekly 6.6.23.
Just to be sure.

Is it safe for me to grab xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote3Pro_6.6.23_v8-5.1.zip
from first post

Then flash through TWRP without wipe clean to factory or anything?

Before flashing, do I still require to install TWRP_kenzo.zip
from first post.

Will my bootloader locked again after this? Do I still need to delete something in the ROM before flashing?

1) where you want grab it instead?
2) better do factory to be sure.
3) I don' t know which version is twrp for your device in First post maybe 3.0.2, but I think you don't require.
4) read always First post!

Is it just me or what? Prefer LTE option is not there, though. Just Prefer 3G.
I'm on Redmi 2 Prime wt86047.
And well, after 6.23 update, every time I want to apply a theme, it said compatibility issues with MIUI 8.
Have solution?

Dirty flashed over it! Working so fine and smooth! Camera does take a hit slightly though! Feels that the clarity has reduced! Otherwise it is up and running fine! After the update and restart of the phone, even all my apps were showing in the taskbar as I had left them!
