Works fine on my Mi5S. I flashed ROM, then SuperSU 2.79, then Xposed v87. All of them at once in that order, no reboots in between. Also remember to wipe cache and dalvik cache after flashing everything.I flashed superSu 2.79 but no root here in Mi5S. Do I have to install another version of it and where can I find it here?
Anyone else having problems with Kenzo version of this weeks rom.
When I try to flash SuperSU, tried both stable 2.79 and beta 2.79-SR2.
The phone doesn't start, just stays on the boot animation.
The phone boots fine if I don't try to root.
Tried it with both SU 2.79-SR2 and Stable 2.79, device still doesn't boot.
Got this error in recovery log.
"- Flashing boot image

Even tried flashing the boot image from the previous rom over todays rom, but it still would not boot.
How is this update for Mi 5? Anyone?
Does the ROM works fine without root?
It booted fine, but didn't use it much because was testing trying to get it rooted!
No reports of problems on Offical China Developer, but another user reported the problem is on Official Global.
I reverted to the previous week where root flashes without problems.
I asked because if ROM works fine without root, and without xposed then can't blame our release for no boot issue caused by root that is modified the original boot.img...imho
The problem as I see it, is that boot image provide in the rom has changed since prior rom. And supersu is unable to modify properly that new boot image resulting in the device hanging.
Other's have reported similar problems on XDA. With removing all traces of xposed on the device.
I will share the boot image on xda supersu thread and see if others can detect the problem.
But I still believe the problem is this release.
I like xiaomi ecosystem. I bet you already knew it but xiaomi.eu doesn't release the official roms but modify them.Xiaomi Corp sucks. Xiaomi EU FTW

Mi5 - every time I start camera movies resolution is set to 720p. Even after I change to 4K, shot a movie, then close app and kill all apps then start again - it will be set to 720p...
