I've the 8.2 - 7.2.9 Rom on a Redmi Pro.
I've SU installed and TWRP.
I've upgraded once in a while the ROM by Wiping Data, cache and so on.
Back up the Apps with Tittanium and recover them with it.
Re-install SU after ROM installed.
Can I just Upgrade the ROM with a dirty flash with TWRP and the Zip file or I've always to delete Data, etc...?
The method I'm using is quite time-consuming.
I had before a Samsung S3 with Cyanogen and just upgraded with TWRP and the new zip file.

You can just flash without wiping. After flashing remember to flash superSU. I do it all the time

if you are worried, just make twrp backup.

when i instaled the rom (with SU only) my screen turned yellow like "reading mode" but it is off, i was on LOS 7.1 before, i tried to reflash the whole rom but still the same... any solutions pls?

This is not true! Reading Mode is available and worked without problems in RN4 (nikel)! Do not talk nonsense ...

where did u update the rom from? or like u make a fresh flash on it?

hi. as long as you have a locked bootloader you cant install any xiaomi.eu rom as you have no chance to install twrp. so you just can use official global or china roms.

No it's not a bug. Last two cores are active only when OS need it.
Run some benchmark (Antutu) and check it.

Had problems with the last 3-4 versions and yesterday i flashed Lineage OS 14.1 on my Mi Max. Everything is working fine.

Run some benchmark (Antutu) and check it.

I think that some of apps show wrong info about active cores.
Try to open terminal and type "top" and hit enter. Second column is for CPU s.
If you see numbers from 1-6 , I think that everything is ok

ciao luca, which twrp are using in order to flash this rom? i trying with twrp 7 (3.0.3) but i can't get the phone reboot in system. it is stuck to twrp and if a try to hard reboot the phone is stuck in Mi logo.
i have tryed from dev china and now i have to try from the stable china but i duobt it will be different

Try the procedure of wipe/repair file system, it would resolve.
Do it for both system and data

By the way the new Note 4x with Snapdragon is:
xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote4X_7.3.23_v8-7.0.zip.

Is this right?
