Heard this is an issue with xiaomi.eu roms because they are based on chin dev.

I don't have 4G in my town, only 3G and this ROM is showing me that I'm connected to LTE network, which is false.
I can't answer your question, but I'm curious about it.

Edit:
I just found that this is happening when WiFi is on. When it's off, looks correct.

Public Miui 9 China Developer will be officially out August 25 for Mi4C. On that build will xiaomi.eu work.
