Do I need to wipe System and reflash the rom to have it completely working with no issues? I don't have any issues but am just wondering if we need to wipe also System once every now and then.

I thought system partition is always wiped automatically everytime we flash new ROM, that's the reason root and all system-related mods are lost.

The use of B5 for LTE is not ROM-dependant, it requires the correct RF Front-end filters (hardware) and the correct settings in the .qcn file. Some Xiaomi phones have the correct hardware, such as Mi5, I do not know about Mi Max Pro.

If you do a search on XDA-developer forums for enabling LTE bands (www.xda-developers.com), there is a mass of discussion on this topic.

Be warned though, playing around in the .qcn file is a fast-track to a "bricked" phone, so do not start if you are not fully prepared with tools and resources for a full recovery of a "brick".

how do you try the stable rom ? wiping also the data (resetting all the phone) ot just dirty flash ?

Doing Format Data and then wiping dalvik/cache and data and cache for some leftovers

Since I installed this rom, I think I have kernel issue. Only 35min screen on time and 89% battery left.
The kernel let the phone awake for at least 2 hours.
Is it possible to flash kernel only?

Xiaomi.eu has no Oreo release for Mi5, so it cannot be that. Also on Mi Mix 2 the battery life is much better since going from Nougat to Oreo Android release.
