Firmware folder removed from our whyred rom.. So you can install any of our newer roms after 8.7.12 without device brick.. Do not install older than 8.7.12 or miui 9..

Can you explain it in more detail?. Do you want to say that I can install newer versions than 8.7.12, go back if I need it without brick danger?. And I can not install anything older than 8.7.12 ?.

Disappears from now ARB for whyred?

At the moment I am in 9.5.14.0 stable and I will not update until it leaves miui 10 stable.

I have now tried to make a FORMAT DATA attempt in TWRP mode, which removed everything, including TWRP.
I have then re-booted on my DEV ROM, set it up and shut down the phone.
I have then re-installed TWRP, wipe DALIK, wipe DATA, and install the MIUI EU rom.
I am still stuck in a boot loop after 30 min of waiting ;(

Am I missing something in my process ?

You make it complicated.
Boot into TWRP, format (where you need to type yes to confirm), reboot to TWRP, transfer rom from computer to phone, flash xiaomi.eu. Reboot.

Hello all.
I have a problem with sound in video recording. I hear some noises when record with stock app. If i use cinema fv5 and disable auto gain control the sound is ok.
Do you have any idea how to fix this for stock or *no-support-for-this-app-on-this-forum* camera?

Updated as usual without any errors but when android loaded start flashing (on/off) my screen and I can't unlock it with fingerprint or to get the screen for PIN entry... someone with the same problem?

Thanks for answering. No, I do not have ARB because I am in 9.5.14 stable.
My question is if now the roms whyred that go without firmware are free of ARB to not have problems in case of returning to an older rom.
My idea is to wait for miui 10 stable and I would not like to have the ARB function.
In my previous Redmi note 3 kate I had to return sometimes to previous weekly versions due to problems. I do not want to have to do it on Note 5 due to ARB.

whyred 64gb global: after upgrade from 8.7.5 to 8.7.12 my twrp doesn't read any files in the internal memory, microsd or otg. twrp version is 3.2.1.0.
any ideas to restore it? in this way, i can't root or flash anoterh rom.

I installed-fastboot "capricorn_global_images_8.7.12_20180712.0000.00_7.0_global_10a35cd0e4.tgz", twrp-3.2.2-0-capricorn, xiaomi.eu_multi_MI5S_8.7.12_v10-7.0.zip (v1) and xiaomi.eu_multi_MI5S_8.7.12_v10-7.0.zip (v2).
All working ok, smoother, faster, fingerprint 99,9% OK, GPS, etc. on my mi5s 64/3.
