Default Music Player Filename Sort

Hi all,
I am running MIUI version 3.3.8 on a Xiaomi M1. The music player sorting seems to be a bit off. It appears to be grouping the items alphabetically, but within each letter group it appears to be listing the items based on when they were copied to the SD card with the most recent items appearing at the bottom, and not based on the Title of the song.

Here is a listing I have in my phone for example:

Adagio for TRON
Arrival
A Place For My Head
Aruarian Dance
All Along The Watchtower
...
Breaking The Habit
Bleed It Out
Brick House
Butterfly Lovers
Ballroom Blitz

Please notice that although items are grouped by the first letter of it's title, the items within each group are not sorted alphabetically.

Would it be possible to push out a fix for this?

If not, is there an alternative player I can use that will also be playable from the lockscreen?

Please let me know, any help will be greatly appreciated.
