Can confirm have same issue on my Mi5s (8.2.1 rooted with Magisk). Uninstalled and all working OK. Tried 8.1.25 version of the UI & boot stayed at Mi symbol for 45+ minutes so removed it again.
Wiped cache/dalvik at every stage.

Just installed last zip (HZQ_MiuiSystemUI_MI5SGlobal_8.2.2) and after the first boot I keep getting this error message.

I have re-download the Global Stable ROM and made the v2 port, download and try it.
In which ROM is this new notification shade actually there? I have redmi note 4 miui global stable 9.2 but this notification shade isn't there. From which ROM has this been ported from?

I'm a bit confused here. Which version of the official ROM has it been ported from? I have official global stable miui V9.2.1.0.NCFMIEK (Redmi Note 4 Snapdragon) but it still has the old notification system.

The same isue in Redmi 4x (Xiaomi.eu 8.2.1 Beta).
Installed V2, Wiped cache/dalvik,
and nothing hapend I sitll have china notifications.

..oh boy...I thought all Global ROMs have this new Notification Shade...Yeah, i see now. the developers still consider them unstable to be included in the stable build.Could it be the Global Stable ROM 9.2.1.0 doesn't have this new Notification shade?

Did you flash the uninstaller and then flashed the port right after, then reboot?
Try flash the port again
Does it work on your Mi Max 2 with latest 8.2.1?Could it be the Global Stable ROM 9.2.1.0 doesn't have this new Notification shade?

Yes, I flashed Global Mi Max 2 v8.2.1 port on my Mi Max 2 and it works.
Thanks, I have followed your recommendations and now mew notifications works perfect.
I must have done something wrong before.
Tried latest mod port for HM4X (8.2.1 v2). Again SMS don't show properly. Will verify also theme reverse to default after sometimes (issue that i was having after flashing/uninstalling/reflashing previous versions).

I found a Global Developer ROM for Mi Note 3, the version is 8.1.4 and have the new notification shade, someone can help me to make a flashable zip of Miuisystem for xiaomi.eu? @Soebianto @graw2 & @Igor Eisberg
