Flash went flawless, I too wonder why we see so many bricks, maybe lack of patience?

Let's hope a working twrp will appear soon..

Rom is good!

Can confirm. Doesn't work with mi Watch global. I'm on stable ROM.

What I don't understand is that it works fine in China Stable and Beta. I have pointed it out here several times, also addressed directly to @ingbrzy. Unfortunately, I haven't received an answer yet

I suspect the Mi Band use a different BT protocol. Finally, they can also be integrated via Mi Fit or ZEPP. The Mi Watch Global / Color only works with Xiaomi Wear. And that seems to be the problem. Only under the China ROM can I initiate unlocking via Bluetooth from Xiaomi Wear. Just like from the Mi Fit app. This is not possible in the Global ROM and xiaomi.eu.
I just don't understand why none of the developers at xiaomi.eu make a statement about this. I've asked often enough.

Because I'm german xD I guess. Tbh, I have no real reason for it.
Because you're German is good
You need USB debugging and OEM unlock to unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM. If you want to update this custom ROM, both options must remain switched on.
If you want to live with the ROM that was on it when you bought it, you don't need to activate any of the options

Greetings from god old

Guys, girls,

Serious question: as many people here, i get my bootloader unlocked next monday, a week after the official release of the Mi11.

I'm dying to update it to the this EU Rom.
But the many (MANY!!) people here who bricked the phone, has made me anxious.
I'm not a noob concerning flashing phones, but the problems i read here are so consistent, and they happen to so many users.

Question is: WHY do so many people brick their Mi11 here?

Is there any clarity on that? Or: should the instructions be updated? I read many suggested reasons for the bricking, but nobody knows the truth.

In this given situation i really think flashing is too unsure. Hope this will soon get better, when we know what is going wrong all the time.

Flashing is very easy and works for sure also fine for me.
Important after successfully unlock bootloader is to open cmd on Windows always in ADMIN MODE. Also befor extract the zip file pls change the property's like it is explained in the "how to"

Then everything works fine.

I flashed the stable. I can see VoWifi but no Volte? On 12.5 miui no issues
Which mobile do you have?
I'm having the same issue with the latest Stable (the first one with A11 onboard): no more VoLTE.
Mi 9T - Vodafone Italy here.
Was VoLTE working on latest Weekly?

I am most willing to trust you, and follow your advice. But i also read:
-use the right cable
-add mi-account to phone
-don't use Mac, but do it on Windows
-unlock bootloader with a certain piece of software
-etc
-etc

It's too many things here that are mentioned as being *extremely important*... That's what makes me uncertain.
I've flashed many phones, always doing *exactly* what the instructions tell me. So, I'm no "scary amateur".
But here the dependencies seem to vary a lot.

Hey Guys, I am on Miui 12.5 since 4 weeks(latest weekly installed) and was waiting if anyone reported this issue as well, but no one did so I wanted to ask whether anyone else has the problem, that after some time in Wifi the phone is unable to connect to 4g networks again and a restart fixes this, but after some hours same result.
I am from Germany and using O2 sim Card

I had the same doubts, I think the most important steps that are missing in the Instructions are, that after unlocking you're phone is resetted and you have to set it up again in order to add your Mi Account and also activate USB Debugging.

no problems here with "sim.de" which is O² network.

no thats not needed (the unlock just format the data, but not the system)

after unlock you can straight flash the xiaomi.eu rom.

just do it as written often:

- Better do not use C: drive
- open CMD as admin
- use short directorys X:\xiaomi.eu_multi_MI11_21.3.17_v12-11-fastboot
- start windows_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.bat

( I did disable antivirus and firewall software the first time I did install xiaomi.eu rom to my Mi11, but since that I leave it activated when I update the weekly rom and if I can remember I did use a USB2.0 port for the first installation, but I dont think that it does matter )
