HyperOS 2.0 HyperOS 2.0 STABLE RELEASE

Hi, I have a Xiaomi 14 with the latest stable version. I noticed that the zoom feature has literally disappeared from the camera — I can only zoom by using the pinch-to-zoom gesture on the screen. I tried clearing the camera app data, but the issue persists.
Have you flashed something additional after flashing ROM? Can't reproduce this issue on my Xiaomi 14. I see you have Global device (mine is CN).

No, I only flashed the modem fix, that's all. I can confirm I have the global version. Just a month ago, I switched from the developer version from last August and flashed the previous version of the current one without formatting everything, and honestly I don't know if the zoom was working (I didn’t pay attention to it). Then I updated to the latest stable version because everything seemed to be working fine

I can't install the update no matter what I do. Xiaomi 15 ultra has been working without any problems so far. I'm skipping this update. That's it!

Which modem fix have you flashed? (Does it have both modem and modemfirmware images?)

I tried again. But that was the start.

the one for Android 15

the one for Android 15
Then you flashed both modem and modemfirmware. It isn't needed. Flashing modem can cause camera issues.
Flash ROM again, then this fix: https://miuipolska.pl/d/xiaomi.eu/modem/houji_global_A15.zip
Starting from next update, relevant modemfirmware will be included in ROM, so you won't have to flash anything.

Hi, I searched about this issue but couldn't find anything related.
I'm using the latest xiaomi.eu available for Marble.
Before when on HOS1 and MIUI I was able to control the media volume for multiple apps, but now on HOS2 I can't anymore.
There is an option in sound settings like there always was but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Is this a bug?
Can I provide logs so it can be fixed?
Thanks!

Just for information. The "modem.img" file that is part of the fix is used from the xiaomi.eu ROM. (It is there so that the fix can be used to fix if someone installs Global,EEA, modem.img.)

MediaFire (where you uploaded the fix) doesn't expose the date. The modem.img there might be outdated, regardless of region.
You should not have included it there at all unless an exact compatible ROM version is specified.

That's true. I forgot to that. The file is old, dated 11/3/2024.
Thanks for the heads up. You can basically delete the Houji_fix thread. It won't be needed anymore.
I find it unnecessary to update it, even though no one from miuios.cz reported an error/problem.

Works fine here. When enabled, a button shows on the left side of the screen when pressing the volume button while audio is played from a certain app or apps.

Android 15 wasn't available a whole year ago.

Yeah, it used to work just fine and exactly as you said for me as well, but now the button on the left side doesn't appear anymore.
Are you using a marble as well or some other model?

Where the battery is draining fast, you need to analyse why:
Go into Settings / Battery, and tap on the graph line where the battery goes down fastest. Underneath, it shows what is consuming the greatest power. You can then look at making necessary adjustments to reduce power consumption.
(I always have Battery saver on, but make my own adjustments.)

There are also various things you can do to reduce power consumption:
- Settings / Apps / Manage apps / Autostart - reduce the number of apps that are in the list (most do not need to autostart);
- Settings / Battery / Current mode - try setting to 'Battery saver' (and then re-adjust settings that you want to keep);
- Settings / Battery / Additional features (img 1);
- Settings / Apps / Permissions / Permissions - you can check which apps have unnecessary permissions;
- You can monitor and check this with the 'Security.Privacy' widget (img 2);
- Do you need Always on display, if you have it set?;
- Check what apps give notifications;
- Periodically clear Recents;
- Use Widgets or Functions similar to these (img 3);
- Security / (scroll down) Battery - a few options here;
- Settings / Display & brightness / Dark mode; Auto brightness; etc., etc.;
- (App - long press) / (i) / Battery - various options;
- There are also other settings that say they might increase power consumption, eg. Using 5G, or under Settings / Display & brightness;

I am sure that there are other settings or actions that others might suggest that you can use to economise on power.

Nice Advice. But unfortunately the battery draining issue is caused by Android System as shown in Battery. Phone is always semi hot (thats when the battery drain fastest)

I am facing with a problem of updating my Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra (Star) to HyperOS 2.0. I have downloaded file "xiaomi.eu_STAR_OS2.0.1.0.UKACNXM_14.zip". After choosing this file in TWRP I will get error "signature verification failed". Also I have tried to download update trough Updater. Same result. I am not sure, what I have done wrong.
