Then After you be able to go further with miui updater.

working on it right now unforunately does not work with twrp 1227 , i am trying twrp 1217 . I just cannot boot in to twrp. stays stuck in the black mi screen

Yes, 1217 did the job. I see there is night mode on the camera now and some other goodies. Thanks again!

Succefully flash 10.2.3.0 from 10.0.1.0 on my Mi 8 SE.

You need :

- Twrp1102.img
- Twrp1217.zip
- Eu Rom 10.2.3.0


---------------------- INSTALLATION ---------------------
- Backup your data on your computer if needed.
- Flash Twrp1102.img with adb.
- Boot to recovery then FORMAT data + wipe.
- Copy 10.2.3.0 from computer to your phone.
- Flash 10.2.3.0, DON'T REBOOT and simply go back.
- Copy Twrp1217.zip from computer to your phone.
- Flash Twrp1217.zip.
- Wipe Dalvik Cache.
- Reboot to recovery.
- Reboot.

-download miui10.2.3 rom and twrp 1217.
-move downloaded item both to pc/laptop
-go to 1227 recovery mode wipe all,format data.reboot recovery.
-move again downloaded item to device.flash miui10.2.3 rom with 1227 twrp.after done,flash 1217 twrp img on recovery mode.
-again reboot recovery,and reboot system

After several searches I saw a lot of people who were stuck in the fastboot mode. So I preferred to do a data format to be sure to have no problem.

We do not include Quick apps in our ROMs anymore. You can get rid of it with TWRP's File Manager for now by deleting these two folders:
/system/app/HybridAccessory
/system/app/HybridPlatform

Gpay does not work, but you can make it work by installing the root and follow the instructions:
1. Delete the data / data / com.google.android.gms folder
2. Reboot the phone
3. Snap a card to gpay
3. The data / data / com.google.android.gms folder will appear again.

after installing the root. there is access to root folders to remove com.google.android.gms folder. I checked yesterday - Gpay works for me. I could pay via NFC

Hi. I have little problem, when i plug in charger, usually after 5 min the phone stop charging, if i replug the charger, after another 5 min again stop charging, and until i reboot the phone this error doesnt fix
Anyone with this problem? Can devs fix it?
I talk with some users on other forum and sone people also have this problem
