Not true if he's coming from the weekly build. It's a different base.Delete data , formating data or wipes for a factory reset is needed if you're going to flash for first time , if you want to update just wioe cache and dalvik ..
Choose the storage and then choose download folder ..I don't see a folder named "Download" or similar.
I said if he wants to update , it is not an update from developer to stable ..Not true if he's coming from the weekly build. It's a different base.

No, you don't.I'm coming from 12.2.2.0 Stable, so I think that don't need full wipe
That doesn't work, because I don't have full access from my PC to the Internal Storage of the Mi 10.Then download the ROM to your PC, and move it to your phone internal storage.
Can you give me a photo of twrp , Choose Install and give me a photo ..That doesn't work, because I don't have full access from my PC to the Internal Storage of the Mi 10.
Maybe I have to use an USB Flash Drive for the ROM transfer.
What do you mean in your first sentence? Does your PC see your phone as an external storage unit while it's in recovery? That doesn't work, because I don't have full access from my PC to the Internal Storage of the Mi 10.

I followed this guide, method 3, my question with answers are there as well (at first try I used Magisk, but I use Microsoft Teams, and I needed to unroot my phone)Please How to safety net pass Mi10 umi 12.2.7
There is a folder named "storage" or "internal storage" , inside there you'll see the "Download" folder ..
Within the shown list there is only a folder "storage", but nothing in it.There is a folder named "storage" or "internal storage" , inside there you'll see the "Download" folder ..
Is there a folder named "sdcard" , try there ..Within the shown list there is only a folder "storage", but nothing in it.
You might have somehow sometime formatted your internal storage, and consequently lost your ROM.zip file.Within the shown list there is only a folder "storage", but nothing in it.
He confirmed earlier that it's 1206Is there a folder named "sdcard" , try there ..
Which twrp version is this ??
It is empty. Is there a folder named "sdcard" , try there ..
It is v3.4.2B-1206Which twrp version is this ??
It is empty.
It is v3.4.2B-1206
Then try to connect your phone to pc as you are now in twrp , if you don't see anything you have to do a format data ..It is empty.

Any ideas?Still, one minor issue - how to setup different notification sounds for messages for two simcards?
Earlier could've done it, now appears to be missing.
Ok, I returned to the TWRP main menu, removed the USB Flash Drive and reconnected the phone with my PC. The Windows Explorer now shows the entry "Mi 10", but I don't have access to any folder or file, which is within the Internal Storage of the phone. So I cannot copy the ROM (as ZIP or extracted?) into the phone this way. Then try to connect your phone to pc as you are now in twrp , if you don't see anything you have to do a format data.
My phone (MI 10) doesn't even have an SDCard slot.If you found "sdcard" folder and it's empty then you have to do a format data ..
If you already have OTG USB, why don't you simply copy the ROM to it (on your PC) stick it back to the phone and proceed with flashing?Ok, I returned to the TWRP main menu, removed the USB Flash Drive and reconnected the phone with my PC.
I have already tried that (with the ROM as *.ZIP file and extracted), but the installation did not even start. If you already have OTG USB, why don't you simply copy the ROM to it (on your PC) stick it back to the phone and proceed with flashing?
