If someone might feel this useful... Since new Xiaomi.eu version requires TWRP (no fastboot version anymore) tried to use the TWRP for DITING.

According to the playstore app, it was a A/B version.

fastboot.exe boot twrp.img did not work. Resulted on this.

TWRP "Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Bad Buffer Size

That's the error that appeared, so reading guides, since it was A/B device, it shouldnt let flash the stock recovery... To my surprise it did flash but phone remained on Fastboot screen boot loop.

To fix this... flashed fastboot xiaomi.eu version for DITING (12T Pro) and then it let me enter to recovery (TWRP).

Then had to format data so SSD would appear, transfered ROM and flashed ROM.

I have same problem. On my diting
I use [rec]recoveryk5o.img or similar , type fastboot boot recovery recovery.img phone get into boot loop.
I try fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Fastboot boot recovery.img I got bad buffer size .

There is obviously problem with flashing TWRP. But like previous post said. After this failed tries, Flashing fastboot xioami eu. Boot, go back to recovery and it's there .

Any fix for this, any new comands, I saw that Orange fox is coming. maybe it will be easier

Not sure what to tell you since I cannot reproduce it on the devices I have.
I think this is not related to your ROM, it is a bug on xiaomi's side because I see the exact same problem on my wife's phone now which is like mine but with stock ROM. I see other peoples reporting this problem, but to date there is no solution anywhere

Hello Community,
I have a question for my Mi 11 Ultra with EU Stable V13.0.12.0.SKACNXM:

It shows an update. I can download and start it. But then a menu appears with chinese letters.
Is it possible to go further or ONLY have to use the recovery images with systemwipe?

thx!

Hallo Community,

danke!

Take a look at point #3

is there a latest miui version for redmi note 10 pro that can be installed by fastboot? the 13.0.4 version of the miui eu is only for recovery, and I don't want to install twrp in the phone, I just want to flash it using fast, and the fastboot file is only at the version of 13.0.8.
is the fastboot file gonna have a 13.0.14 version too?

Alright I'm gonna move to the EU forum ROM. I've my phone settings/apps etc backed up currently to Google One. My photos etc are all on Google Photos.

Can I restore my apps from the cloud backup I have currently when I install the EU rom. Also can I install the ROM via Twrp recovery or does it have to be via fastboot?

Also what's the Twrp link I need for what I'm about to do?

All installed now.
2 things I've found which are annoying.
One is that the text on notifications when in dark mode is like a dark grey and is kinda hard to see. Anyway to make it white?

Second is with gboard is there a way to lift the keyboard up a centimetre as I find it harder to type when it's right at the bottom of the screen.

Oh, and does anyone use TASKER with this ROM? I find that it is intermittent if it succesfully runs a task. For example one of my tasks is to play a siren if a certain caller rings and it has not managed that yet. Another task is to play a siren when a certain app sends a notification. Sometimes it plays the sound and other times it does not. Not sure why as of yet but if anyone has any tips for Tasker with this ROM that'd be great.

Was already explained many times: no, once a working TWRP is available, no fastboot ROMs.
We might publish fastboot ROMs for Android 13 in the future, remains to be seen.

Is this because trwp actually not working on A13?
There is a TWRP that does work but you need to read in this thread to find a link to the guide (one guide for all devices) about finding/downloading appropriate TWRP/OF for devices with Xiaomi.eu recovery type ROMs and how to install - and that must work since there are other users here (and more with Xiaomi.eu Weekly ROMs) with the same device who successfully use that TWRP and install Xiaomi.eu recovery type ROM.
The same questions and answers with the link are repeating - there must be one in the last few pages

I'm on redmi note 11 pro 5g, had to roll back to android 11, 13.0.14. Both versions of android 12 are laggy, and buggy after a while of use.
