If someone might feel this useful... Since new Xiaomi.eu version requires TWRP (no fastboot version anymore) tried to use the TWRP for DITING.
According to the playstore app, it was a A/B version.
fastboot.exe boot twrp.img did not work. Resulted on this.
TWRP "Failed to load/authenticate boot image: Bad Buffer Size
That's the error that appeared, so reading guides, since it was A/B device, it shouldnt let flash the stock recovery... To my surprise it did flash but phone remained on Fastboot screen boot loop.
To fix this... flashed fastboot xiaomi.eu version for DITING (12T Pro) and then it let me enter to recovery (TWRP).
Then had to format data so SSD would appear, transfered ROM and flashed ROM.
If you have root access, you can return these protocols: https://4pda.to/forum/index.php?showtopic=176346&view=findpost&p=119045219I have noticed that they have remove the l2tp/IPsec connection in the VPN, in this second release for mi 11t pro stable ROM, could you please validate if that's correct? Because in the 13.0.1 it was present but I have applied the 13.0.2 and is gone.
I think this is not related to your ROM, it is a bug on xiaomi's side because I see the exact same problem on my wife's phone now which is like mine but with stock ROM. I see other peoples reporting this problem, but to date there is no solution anywhereNot sure what to tell you since I cannot reproduce it on the devices I have.
look here… restore only photos my suggestionAlright I'm gonna move to the EU forum ROM. I've my phone settings/apps etc backed up currently to Google One. My photos etc are all on Google Photos.
Can I restore my apps from the cloud backup I have currently when I install the EU rom. Also can I install the ROM via Twrp recovery or does it have to be via fastboot?
Also what's the Twrp link I need for what I'm about to do?
Awesome thread.look here… restore only photos my suggestion
Was already explained many times: no, once a working TWRP is available, no fastboot ROMs.Hello. Will there be Fastboot rom for Xiaomi mi11i? I see there is 22.214.171.124 but it is Recovery. And I can't install TWRP recovery to put this rom
There is a TWRP that does work but you need to read in this thread to find a link to the guide (one guide for all devices) about finding/downloading appropriate TWRP/OF for devices with Xiaomi.eu recovery type ROMs and how to install - and that must work since there are other users here (and more with Xiaomi.eu Weekly ROMs) with the same device who successfully use that TWRP and install Xiaomi.eu recovery type ROM.Is this because trwp actually not working on A13?
