I get the same issue ("permission denied") on macos. It's no access problem, Terminal has read/write access.1) Learn how to use your operating system, if you chose to use it.
2) You'll have to run these commands in Terminal inside the extracted ROM's folder:
Code:chmod -x bin/macos/fastboot chmod -x macos_fastboot_update_rom.sh chmod -x macos_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.sh
I don't use MacOS, not sure how I can answer that question.I get the same issue ("permission denied") on macos. It's no access problem, Terminal has read/write access.
Do I need to to install any drivers or platform tools beforehand? (my 12X is already unlocked and running on 13.0.5 stable)
Same Problem on Mi 11 ultra. And many others as already posted.i realise there a problem when unlocking the phone will clear all my notification, anyone experiencing it on poco f3? or i miss out any setting?
It is a huge downgrade, since you are also going back a full Android version. A dirty flash is not recommended.Same Problem on Mi 11 ultra. And many others as already posted.
@devs:Is a dirty Flash back to last stable 13 EU ok or no good idea?
yeah make sure to do that because mostly due to xiaomi eu immigration from chinese to european, but there was no talk about america((I'll let you know when I immigrate to the USA... (no ETA)
If you're in the US, you could just install "Official" Global rom. Why all the hassle try to install EU rom, unless your phone is Chinese version but you don't live there, could see the benefit of Miui EU rom.yeah make sure to do that because mostly due to xiaomi eu immigration from chinese to european, but there was no talk about america((
I'm back to tell you that I have happy news by browsing the forum I found the solution to my problem, here is the linkHello everyone,
I have a small problem, yesterday I updated my xiaomi 12 cupid from MIUI13 to MIUI14 with TWRP everything went well, but TWRP no longer works so I wanted to reinstall the new version in the way by fastboot by typing (fastboot boot recovery.img) except that it does not work, I have this error message: FAILED (remote: 'failed to load/authenticate boot image: Bad buffer Size')
and now i'm stuck in fastboot
I looked a bit on the internet and I could see that I had to write another command
(fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img)
everything went well on CMD
but the phone is blocked on fastboot
do you know this problem and how can i solve it?
I would like the best possible not to erase my data
thanks to anyone who can help me
Do you have the A13 TWRP installed?I managed to install xiaomi.eu_multi_THOR_V14.0.3.0.TLACNXM via Fastboot without problems, but I can't get the xiaomi.eu_multi_THOR_V14.0.5.0.TLACNXM installed.
I have the zip file downloaded, I open Updater and select the package, all it does is reboot into TWRP and shows me the main menu. Nothing else happens.
If I select Install it shows me 0MB internal storage, which is not correct, and I don't see the zip file which is in the root of internal storage.
Any idea how to install 14.0.5.0 on Thor?
I guess not, as it shows version 3.6.2....A12Do you have the A13 TWRP installed?

How do I get the 3.7.0 installed? I mean the instructions say "fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img", does that mean I run "fastboot flash recovery_ab twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.2_A13-thor-skkk.img" in fastboot mode?
Sorry for the stupid question, but I don't want to brick the phone, so I'd rather ask before doing something stupid.
