Thank you for answering.
Unfortunately it still doesn't work after re flash.
There's something different from weekly that works and in stable it doesn't. Maybe the theme app or the app vault.
Can someone give some insight? Anything else that I should test or do to make it work?

if I install with fastboot I will get updates with OTA or for get updates with OTA I need to install with recovery and then be available?

i realise there a problem when unlocking the phone will clear all my notification, anyone experiencing it on poco f3? or i miss out any setting?

Hi,help please,i want to moove from miui 14 dev to 14 stable.Which is the best way? Fastboot update or first instal?

1) Learn how to use your operating system, if you chose to use it.
2) You'll have to run these commands in Terminal inside the extracted ROM's folder:
Code:
chmod -x bin/macos/fastboot
chmod -x macos_fastboot_update_rom.sh
chmod -x macos_fastboot_first_install_with_data_format.sh
I get the same issue ("permission denied") on macos. It's no access problem, Terminal has read/write access.
Do I need to to install any drivers or platform tools beforehand? (my 12X is already unlocked and running on 13.0.5 stable)

I don't use MacOS, not sure how I can answer that question.

Same Problem on Mi 11 ultra. And many others as already posted.
@devs:Is a dirty Flash back to last stable 13 EU ok or no good idea?

It is a huge downgrade, since you are also going back a full Android version. A dirty flash is not recommended.

I managed to install MIUI 14 on an Mi11 pro, the whole process was very smooth, thanks everyone working on this.

I have a question though, is it possible to remove System apps (say clock) through TWRP? I used to remove System apps for my Galaxy S8, usually Samsung useless apps.

(Replied to the wrong comment)

Ofc it's "smooth" because they restricted memory for Instagram and telegram with other apps, so now it's notifications problems people meet + improvement of battery life at what plan? they could do more battery degradation than before (while in other phones the percentage of charge from 20% and below keeps more time, in xiaomi below 9% is a challenge called "guess 2 or 3 minutes your phone will turn off)
for example, the same RAM expander, nowhere is it written that this will lead to the degradation of RAM, because the speed of RAM and hard drive in phones is different, and not pc
think twice where this so-called quick action comes from if xiaomi can't hire the normal dudes from the Poco department (to the same example, problems with the poco launcher that are already the second year or with rare bug fixes and receiving miui 14 in last days after everyone

why two or more enthusiasts from xiaomi eu repaired part of the proximity sensor in Poco F3 which xiaomi repaired forever, and I don’t think that xiaomi without moneys

just keep in mind that a company that has enough money could do at the level of samsung, it's a pity to see how people being happy receiving the so-called "improvements in the smoothness of the system" of the company of those who press money even for world-class advertising

Since updating MIUI 14, some of my apps are now not using the fullscreen anymore, ie: black notch appears on the top, particularly MX Player Pro.

To solve this fullscreen issue (of MX Player), I have to enable the "Hide notch" -- which will now create a black status bar above for all apps - but somehow solved the true fullscreen issue of the MX Player Pro. Why is it reversed ?

Hello everyone,

I have a small problem, yesterday I updated my xiaomi 12 cupid from MIUI13 to MIUI14 with TWRP everything went well, but TWRP no longer works so I wanted to reinstall the new version in the way by fastboot by typing (fastboot boot recovery.img) except that it does not work, I have this error message: FAILED (remote: 'failed to load/authenticate boot image: Bad buffer Size')
and now i'm stuck in fastboot
I looked a bit on the internet and I could see that I had to write another command
(fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img)
everything went well on CMD
but the phone is blocked on fastboot

do you know this problem and how can i solve it?
I would like the best possible not to erase my data
thanks to anyone who can help me

yeah make sure to do that because mostly due to xiaomi eu immigration from chinese to european, but there was no talk about america((
If you're in the US, you could just install "Official" Global rom. Why all the hassle try to install EU rom, unless your phone is Chinese version but you don't live there, could see the benefit of Miui EU rom.

I'm back to tell you that I have happy news by browsing the forum I found the solution to my problem, here is the link

here is what to do:

fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img
fastboot reboot recovery

Never try to "fastboot boot" these images. If you do that, you will get a "Bad Buffer Size" error and your device will be stuck in fastboot mode.
To get out of being stuck in fastboot mode, run these commands:

Code:

fastboot erase misc
fastboot set_active a

Then install the recovery correctly.

I managed to install xiaomi.eu_multi_THOR_V14.0.3.0.TLACNXM via Fastboot without problems, but I can't get the xiaomi.eu_multi_THOR_V14.0.5.0.TLACNXM installed.

I have the zip file downloaded, I open Updater and select the package, all it does is reboot into TWRP and shows me the main menu. Nothing else happens.
If I select Install it shows me 0MB internal storage, which is not correct, and I don't see the zip file which is in the root of internal storage.

Any idea how to install 14.0.5.0 on Thor?

Do you have the A13 TWRP installed?

Do you have the A13 TWRP installed?
I guess not, as it shows version 3.6.2....A12

How do I get the 3.7.0 installed? I mean the instructions say "fastboot flash recovery_ab recovery.img", does that mean I run "fastboot flash recovery_ab twrp-3.7.0_12-v7.2_A13-thor-skkk.img" in fastboot mode?

Sorry for the stupid question, but I don't want to brick the phone, so I'd rather ask before doing something stupid.

You can use the installed TWRP to update it to A13 TWRP.
Find the right way to do it, because I don't know where the recovery is installed in your device.
Some are flashed in ramdisk others are a/b
