It's alright.
The installation was successful. The error message is a TWRP issue. It does not affect the update.

Hi all. I am sorry for posting here ´cause this is not rom related but can not find answer for my problem. I have Mi 11 Pro and while I am using it on the bright sunny day the screen gets dimmer and there is no way to get it brighter on auto or manual mode. Is there a way to fix that? Thanks!
Anybody???

Anybody???
Can you try Sunlight mode ?
And disable Auto Brightness !

Xiaomi needs to fix this issue ... So thats the only workaround atm I believe.

Auto brightness works well for me on the last two (2) weekly ROM btw ...
v14.0.23.3.27 and latest v14.0.23.4.2

I'm on the Mi 11 Ultra (star) btw.

Unfortunately, it is the same with auto brightness and in the sunlight mode. I tried everything. As I understand there is no help for that, it is SD 888 problem. Outdoors on the direct sunlight, the screen is at it's max, the sun is directly on the phone, SOC is getting hotter and to protect itself and the phone it reduces brightness to cool itself. I think there is no way to fix this by any sw update because it is hardware related. I have zero problems with the phone but this.

I had the same issue and hence I moved to Weekly ROM.

I believe v14.0.23.3.20 (maybe) clearly states that auto brightness fix was applied to this ROM

Honestly you'll feel a lot better on the weekly rom. Give it a try if you can.

Sorry couldn't be of much help bud.

hi guys, I flashed my redmi note 9 pro (joyuse) and installed the latest eu rom 14
but there's a big problem:
I see lots of laggy sceens, even in simple apps like whatsapp when loading chat and I see contacts without names (only their numbers) then after 2 sec of lags it converts them to contact names
also when moving between menu bars like moving to Status, u see non smooth animation like lags
and when I run simple games it takes time to load and process things in game

note: before eu, I used the global 14 version but had no problems
what could be the issue here?

hmm I just ran the script for clean install (not update) it says it comes with format
but I didnt wipe anything in orangefox
should I wipe anything? if yes, which sections needs to be wiped?
like dalvik cache or something
internal
sd
etc

Okay... That's correct.

Fastboot -- first install

That's sound right.

Your recovery shouldn't matter since you're using fastboot but best to have the latest TWRP as your recovery.

You might want to do the fastboot first install once again .... Just in case .... And see what happens.

I have Redmi Note 9 Pro (joyeuse), I tried MIUI 13 but I removed because FM Radio doesn't support RDS data.
Is there support for RDS data in this version?

Usually just Dalvik Wipe when flashing w/ TWRP

Hope you're running the script from 'cmd' (run as administrator) and not double clicking the file in explorer!

Your device has a dedicated recovery partition, the installation does not touch this partition. This means that it won't even delete your installed recovery/TWRP/OF.
If you have problems with the OS, do "format data" in OF/TWRP.

Yes. All ROMs released after January 21st are and will be released in hybrid version.
The current ROM for your model was released before this date. You have to wait for the new version (update) to be released for the hybrid ROM.
Although I don't understand why you don't want to update via TWRP. When installing a hybrid ROM using the fastboot method, TWRP will be installed at the same time.
I got a question, please.
I´m only familiar with .bat files installation .
I just installed the latest rom for my Mi 11 lite 5g (renoir) via fastboot.
You mention here that if i installed the hybrid rom via fastboot TWRP gets installed as well. Is that right? I mean, next time if I want to install it via TWRP , it will already be installed from this proevious rom that I have installed via Fastboot? Or I still need to gaet TWRp installed before I do it..?

This does not apply to "renoir" devices. TWRP is not part of the ROM. Because there is no working TWRP for "renoir" available for Android 13.

"the system" is not encrypted on any ROM or device. What's encrypted is the user data, and it's also encrypted on Xiaomi.eu.
If you're on a stock ROM right now, you'll have to clean flash Xiaomi.eu, meaning complete data format.
