  • Extract the ROM zip to a new folder
  • Power off your device
  • Boot your device in Fastboot mode (Hold volume down + power buttons)

is it necessary to use first install with format data coming from 14.022.12.8.DEV? I tried the fastboot update on windows on my thor device and am getting this error:

Please wait. The device will reboot when installation is finished.

Setting current slot to 'a' OKAY [ 0.009s]

Looks like a USB connection issue.

11 lite 5g fastboot upgrade , all working well without bugs jet , gj!

p.s. found one thing intresting, display is much more vibrant and more bright even on low settings..10% is now like 40% brightness

Sorry, two questions:

1) From xiaomi.eu 13 stable, moving to xiaomi.eu 14 stable, should I format full?

2) After installing the. Xiaomi.eu 14 stable, can I go back to the original miui 13 (Italian market) for warranty or is there an anti-rollback lock?

Installed on my 12S Ultra last night which was on Miui 13 stable before. Works perfectly! Somehow the phone feels more smooth than 13. Great work! team~

I'm using Unicorn(12s Pro) with latest Xiaomi.eu miui 13 stable version(with twrp), also facing this issue when flashing this miui 14 version. The installation can't successfully and then can't enter into fastboot anymore. It looks like i'm getting a hard brick now. Can't turn on my phone or any combo button. Any solution?

If you can't access fastboot, then EDL flashing is your only option.

so,can i update to miui14 stable from miui14 weekly without formating, erasing data,or factory resarting.i hope my data will be kept after update

Yes, thanks, I understood. But is there any guide to unbrick with EDL mode?
You just need to install xiaomi assistant on pc,link your bricked phone by usb,the assistant will restore your phone to official rom.then ,your phone will be locked, you need to unlock it again if you want to flash it

what i concern is just wether the data could be kept..from miui 13 stable...and fastboot only?

if i update this rom from miui13 stable..need i root the system again..

Thank you so much !
But my Xiaomi 12s Ultra can't display Vietnamese normally. I tried many fonts but it didn't work. This problem doesn't happen on china stable rom 14.0.2
